Upvoted! The myth that Trump broke the law was busted along with the one claiming that Biden also had declassify powers. It will not matter to the Biden cult. The double standard by the feds will also escape the mental midgets, the FBI ransacked Trumps house took plenty of items unrelated to any classified documents and still couldn't charge him with an actual crime. Nothing will happen to Biden either, but people with brains can see the truth.

lol...

But, no, not really. There's a difference between a funny comeback and someone being triggered. (For an example of really being triggered, see some of your leftist compatriots on this very meme.)

National archives admitted all presidents do this on 60 Minutes. And that q0 years isn’t a long time. Unfortunately, 60 minutes deleted the interview from their website after it aired.

Yeah, that's the current status. But these docs are being viewed as to how they were handled at the time. This isn't rocket science.

Fair enough, and if we're looking at memes here on imgflip in a strictly binary / objective way, I won't argue with you. But my $0.02 worth is that you're being overly analytical in this case, as the OP's meaning seems clear. Perhaps nothing more than not being precise enough in constructing the meme?

I understand what you're saying, as I tend to be overly analytical. (the length of this reply being evidence of that!) But sometimes that gets in the way of discussing the actual point. I've learned to suppress it (at least somewhat) here on imgflip, because after all, these are just memes which are the equivalent of people blowing hot air out of their pie holes. Nothing more significant than that.

And in this case, I think the only relevant aspect of who can or can't classify / declassify documents, is that at the time the documents came into the personal possession of the person leaving office, Trump could do it (whether he did, legally, or not, yet tbd) and Biden could not. There's no question about that as far as Biden was concerned, at the time.

I think QQnon is a non factor in almost everything. They wouldn't have any relevance at all, imo, if the media didn't pump them up as a threat. It's simple; in order to appeal to the types who believe what the media tells them, in conjunction with needing reasons to hate Trump or others on the right, the media makes them out to be more significant than they are. Same with white nationalists in general. They were under rocks where they belong, getting no publicity at all until the left decided to label Trump a white nationalist, and boom, there's your threat.

"There are a lot of posters here who think Trump is still President."

Rightly or wrongly, he isn't, and those people need to suck it up and deal with reality.

Regarding the documents on the whole, I think people are missing the boat. People who hate Trump will believe whatever the media tells them about why he did it and what's in them. Selling nuclear codes. Really? I guess the media believes the old notion that if you want people to believe a lie, make it a really big lie. I figure he took them because they had some personal value to him, and that means something that would have to do with being re-elected, because it seems that's what he's all about right now. So that means these docs have something to do with who was behind the now proven to be wrong Russian collusion narrative. Yes, pure speculation on my part. I think all those other things you mentioned are not quite proven yet, but that's okay.

With Biden's docs, quite similar, but not to prove his non-involvement in something, but instead to hide his involvement in something. Again, pure speculation. Since the docs seem to be about Ukraine (and maybe China) it would make sense that he would try to bury those, *if* they would implicate him in Hunter's pay to play schemes. We know the Big Guy was getting his cut, or at least it seems that way, so why else would he have docs about those countries?

Then we find out the latest batch of docs he has include some from when he was a senator. What was he doing back then that he had to hide? And yes, since I'm speculating that Biden had docs to protect himself, it's entirely possible that the same is true for Trump. I don't know what that might be. Maybe he was trying to sell nuclear codes after all?! Ha!

In Biden's case, I think it was sheer negligence. i'mma gonna tell you about my father in law as an example of how I think this happened.

My father in law used to work for the railroad. Which means he moved from city to city a lot. he and his family never lived anywhere longer than 4 years. He retires and moves out to the country. (his nearest neighbor is about a mile away. he lives in north east texas, and has a feral hog problem. Those f**kers are huge!)

Anyway, I'm helping unpack the garage when I get to a box that has multipel moving company stickers with dates. The earliest date is about 3 years younger than my wife, which means he'd been hauling that unopened box for 20+ years. It said gardening stuff. I shook it. There was a broken pots sound. We opened it up.

We didn't find gardening stuff. We found literal trash. Some shards of a broken planter. Not the whole one. wadded up newspaper. shredded yard. Just trash. He'd been carrying around a box of trash for 20+ years because of what was written on the box.

And that's how I think the stuff ended up in Biden's garage. A lifetime of public service ended up with a few documents in the wrong boxes. Then shut up for years and years. Moved around multiple times.

Does it look bad? yeah. Is it careless? yeah, for sure. Is it criminal? maybe? I dunno. The law says "knowingly and willingly." And that's really hard to prove.
