Relevancy doesn't matter. Biden took over and we've never seen gas prices as low. We've also seen so many people going back to work, so many gas stations are upping their prices to make more money off of the people going back to work!
The reason it was so low in 2020 was because nobody was driving to the point that the low prices begged people to just drive somewhere to just use up gas, and then they could fill up with gas so the gas stations could stay in business during a time nobody was driving to work. Just look at the price of gas during the entirety of Trumps presidency, and you will see, the lowest it ever was, was during the peak of the pandemic.

You lost me at your second sentence. Yes 2020 there was a pandemic and everything shut down. Gas was low. Price per barrel was low and Trump tried to fill up the Strategic Reserve for under $30 a barrel. Democrats rejected it. Now look at us. Going to pay top dollar to refill it.

I might have made the second sentence unclear. Let me clear it up. In mid-late 2020 gas was around $2 a gallon. When Biden took over, gas prices rose, and we have never seen gas prices as low as $2 a gallon again. I will agree gas nearly doubled (where I live) and in some places, tripled and quadrupled in price. We will never see it as low as $2 a gallon again as far as I can see.

Hopefully this clears up what I meant to say, if I was unclear in the earlier comment.

Trump then brokered a deal between Russia and the Saudis to slow production in order to boost the price. They've been slowing it ever since.

Not only that, but now Biden stopped buying oil from Russia, because Russia invaded Ukraine. Gas skyrocketed after that point, but I see no surprise there. Obviously, buying foreign oil is bad because their governments can control the supply chain, and the price. Saudi Arabia is trying to rip us off! Domestic oil is how we keep gas prices low. That is the one thing I can agree with conservatives on.
