Up-voted. What I find fascinating is that the political Left ALWAYS claim that they are not attacking Christianity . . . before, during, and after they launch at least a week's worth of hit-pieces on Christianity and its adherents -- this week it's specifically been against Catholics.

They call people objecting to the collective media hit pieces . . . paranoid WHILE they are issuing the very hit pieces.

I'll agree to that because what good are the TOS when the mods don't enforce them?

"...do not discriminate against any sect..."
"...please express your opinions in a way that is kind and respectful to all people of the world..." "...if stating your opinion does not follow these terms, please keep it to yourself or post it elsewhere..."
"...comments, or other images whose sole purpose is to attack a person or group of people in a condemning and non-humorous way are subject to deletion..."

"I didn't violate any of those rules" - No, you didn't get a TIMER for VIOLATING those rules.

Just because you don't get caught and/or punished doesn't meant that you didn't break the law.

You know the top image is of a method of execution, right? That's like complaining that a photo of an electric chair is being used as a symbol of hate. Especially in association with a case known to have been carried out unjustly. Like, duh? That was the whole point in the first place.

No, the defining characteristic of Christianity is that you don't show hate to others. Now I'm not saying some people struggle with hate that are Christian, but if you see them hating on everyone all the time, they aren't Christian.

You have to read the Bible for that.

1 John 2:9 Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.

Leviticus 19:17 “ ‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt.
18 “ ‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

Luke 6:27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
15 Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

I'm sorry, but please don't claim to know what's in the bible unless you sure and have read it.

Commanding Israelites to not hate fellow Israelites (adopted by the Romans for fellow Christians of Rome) does not mean not hating everyone else. Which they did. A lot.

In fact, Constantine used Christianity as a tool of conquest, a cause to rally the masses, a symbol to kill in the name of...

This approach only began to fade after WWII, when various European countries were forced to set free their colonial holdings of not-quite-citizen exploitable "heathens."
2 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Constantine wasn't Christian. He just used Christianity because it says 'follow the laws of the government'.

Neighbors doesn't just mean your own people. It means anyone you interact with that aren't specifically out to kill you.

Again, WWII had nothing to do with religion. It was a purely ideological philosophical war.
1 up, 3y
He wasn't? Wait, Son of Jackal seated in Rome who will steal the Word of the Chosen and call it their own but not before corrupting it beyond recognition are NOT Judeans? Tha Hell you say!

That's not what those quotes say. Kindly read them and stop lying, God don't like it.

Oh, and He don't like the people who sought to exterminate HIS Chosen in WWII either.

"And what about Bible times to the modern day? How many people did the Assyrians and Babylonians kill between 200 CE and 2000 CE?"

That was just one example. What about the nations after that who conquered the Assyrians and Babylonians? They weren't Christians so you have to take them into consideration as well. If you're trying to actually prove to me (which no one still has) Modda's claim that Christians have killed more people than everyone else in history combined, then you're gonna need to give me some actual proof.

Maybe you should've studied history more.

If you're claiming that Christians have killed more people than everyone else combined, you have to take into consideration ALL the times Christians have murdered people, them somehow compare that to every single person on the planet (all the other religions). Then you also said throughout ALL of history. According you guys, the earth is millions of years old. So that means you have to take into consideration all the people from the beginning of time (or whenever you guys say humans evolved lol). Then you can prove your claim. Otherwise, you look out a window.

Replying here because you asked questions in the last comment in that thread.

"What the heck are you saying? Catholicism IS Christianity, having invented the religion."

Nope, 13 Jews created Christianity, the Catholic Church came much later.

"A Germanic splinter group from the 16th Century that thinks its rad because it doesn't recognize the Papacy is nothing but that, or do you require assistance with the math regarding something that came a over millenia and a half after the religion was birthed? Sheesh, the Germans were a bunch of wandering tribes of barbarians from unmapped hinterlands with not an iota of contact with or even knowledge of the Judeans at the time, let alone, Jesus. Nearly two thousand years later they sought to exterminate Jesus's people, or ain'tchu heard?
Ain't that ripe, claim the so-called Messiah (he wasn't), kill the Chosen. Yeah, they're the authentic Christians! Killing His people in the name of their Savior!""

Nope, wrong again. Christianity was already a thing when the Catholic church was established. At first the Catholic Church was Christian, but become corrupt over time. When the bible was translated into English many people realized that what the Catholic Church was doing did not line up with the what the bible said. They broke off and followed the real Christianity. Please study history.
1 up, 3y
False.
Other than Seventh-day Adventists keeping the Sabbath, Christians follow nothing of the Law nor any aspect of the Word.
Christianity is a Saul/Paul corruption, Son of Jackal, seated in Rome. Christianity, ironically IS the anti-Christ. It is the Beast. As per prophecy,,,

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand it was created in the form of the Catholic Church, STILL. See above, Son of Jackal, seated in Rome. Protestantism's soft separation is minor, and has no realigning with real Judaism and its tenets.

""Catholicism is not a branch of Christianity"

Yes it is

"The requirement to be Christian is that you believe the Jesus died for your sins so that you can go to heaven and that the promise to the Israelites was fulfilled through Jesus"

And Catholics believe that"

No they do not. They believe you have to be part of the Catholic church to be saved. They also believe you have to earn being saved by works.

""Catholicism teaches that if you aren't a catholic you are not saved"

And there are Protestant groups that believe the same thing. So by your logic Protestant must not be Christians"

Protestants is a giant group that basically means 'not Catholic'. Within that group there are many that don't believe in saved by grace or believe you have to go to their church to be saved. Those branches are not Christian either, by definition.

Catholicism teaches that if you aren't a catholic you are not saved. Thus it is not a Christian organization. Though there may be Christians that attend and work within it.

You are now just coming up with excuses and very bad ones at that. The point remains, in reality, a 100% Christian population will thrive and prosper while a 100% homosexual population will die out and perish. So, that observation concludes that homosexuality is WAY more harmful to 1) the human species 2) the society than Christianity would ever be.
