Teaching hard work and survival skills… + how not to be an idiot with an axe lol, females can learn it too but still follows same idea and isn’t a bad idea. Don’t teach your kids to be a wussy lol

My dad taught me how to sweat a pipe around nine or ten. He was an electrician by trade, but had a working knowledge of many trades.

We always had a home improvement/remodeling project going on while I was growing up.

What does that even have to do with this meme? It's not saying women should do that (although feminists should cause anything a man can do, a woman can do better). It's saying that boys should learn how to be hard working men that provide for their families in the future before their teachers teach that men can get pregnant and aren't actually men.
5 ups, 2y
Fears of what lol? That the next generation of men will just be a bunch of crybabies that need "safe spaces" to cry because someone misgenderised them?

I assume then that you have actual evidence that my claims are false?
7 ups, 2y,

Exactly. Men are hard workers, not wussies who can't pick up a screwdriver cause they're too worried about CHANGING THEIR GENDER or just confused about it.

Women provide for their family in a different way. Yes, they can work if they want to, but that's not their job.

What's your basis then for defining masculinity?
1 up, 2y,
1 reply
"Women provide for their family in a different way. Yes, they can work if they want to, but that's not their job."

Enlighten us all about what a woman's "job" is. And what if she doesn't want to do that job? Then what?
2 ups, 2y
To take care of the home and the kids while the dad provides the main income (at least I think that's how it should be), although honestly, even if the dad takes care of the kids and the mom provides the income, at least he's still helping, doing things such as taking care of the lawn, fixing cars, doing projects around the house etc. and not crying over misgenderised things.

If she doesn't want to do that job, then she can get a job she wants. It's America, can she do whatever she wants if she doesn't want that kind of job.
4 ups, 2y,
1 reply
Ok, then tell me how you think men and women "solve problems" then.

And you still haven't told me what the basis for defining masculinity is.

......the.... same way. As each other. Was that not clear? They get jobs. They pay bills. They run households. Did you really not get that?
2 ups, 2y,
1 reply
Yes, everyone has those same responsibilities. So yes, I do know that.

However, all I'm saying is that men and women have different roles as in the man provides for his family by being the main income, and the women provide for the children and/or have a side job (only if they need it).

Like I've been saying, In today's society, men are wimps who can't do anything for themselves except cry when someone says their wrong pronouns. This is why I agree with the meme that boys need to be trained as men, not wimps.
[deleted]
2 ups, 2y
Except that SEVERAL families have women who provide the main income! This happens ALL THE TIME. So, CLEARLY that difference exists completely in your own imagination.

The fact that you can't give me one solid role that men provide that women don't and couldn't is most of the argument right there.
5 ups, 2y,
1 reply
Today we live in a society where men are wearing bras and think they need period pads. You know why? It's because they aren't being raised to say "Be a man" and instead are being told "You need a place to cry because someone used the wrong pronouns... Don't worry, you're safe with us." It's pathetic.
3 ups, 2y,
1 reply
You've literally taken what I said and completely change it. Let me tell you what I was trying to tell you.

The screwdriver was just an example. I'm saying men are weak because society tells them they can. They cry over ppl messing up their pronouns and think they need pads. It's dumb and pathetic. I'm saying real men aren't any of those things, but you make a point that men today are what you just described, but that's because they weren't raised correctly.
2 ups, 2y,
1 reply
No, I said humans today are weak because 8 million years of evolution sez so.
I posted a crap ton of words there, no need to lie and add new ones I didn't say. That's a sign of having a position that is too weak to stand on its own merits, or lack of, therein.

A 2yo chimp has the strength of 6 adult human males, there's no amount of daddy making sure junior isn't subjected to this pronoun fad of the last couple of years that can change that, nor the fact that a chimp can tear the arm of said daddy right off his shoulder. Literally. Pull. his. arm. clean. off. like. it. was. a. wad. of. wet. tissue. There's no amount of steroid enhanced weight lifting that can make a weak human able to do the same thing. Ever.

Humans are weak, that's why they get butthurt over these contrived issues of the week like their nads are going to fall off.

It's almost like chimpanzees are a different species that has a adapted to have immense physical strength.
2 ups, 2y
Or retained it, as other apes and other animals also possess great strength compared to humans. So the OP's advice is a tad tardy, evolutionary-wise,,,
2 ups, 2y
pound for pound* men are the weakest of all creatures...
0 ups, 2y
Your whole premise is weak. The two things that make us strong and the prominent species on this rock is the brain that designs the tools and the opposing thumbs that make the tools and allow their use.

Sure a worm can dig a whole but can it do anything else? When it rains it doesn't even have the common sense to get off of the road before it becomes bird food or road kill.

Look at the prolonged conversation we've had. You take the petty things of the world so seriously. I try to laugh at everything because I have my list of things I take too seriously as well. No you don't, you try to laugh at me. You walked right past the opportunity to make the exact same joke with the exact same level of funny to the OP just so that you could do it to me.

You thought there was a serious political point behind the joke and we both know it. Who are you trying to kid?
4 ups, 2y
Okay, the male pronouns are wearing leather boots which drops the OSHA fine to $22,500. The female pronoun still violates $25,000 in OSHA compliance. Not because of he, she, it's assigned gender but because of it's level of preparedness and lack of personal protection equipment.
If the larger male pronoun had been wearing leather gloves, his axe wouldn't be flying off into space behind him.
There. Fixed it for you.
You wouldn't get it. Years ago there was a series of radio ads that could apply to you. What are you mad about today Antithesis?

Please explain how this meme is putting women down. If the only reason is because it doesn't explicitly say to teach your daughters to be women before teachers teach them to be men, then you two are, as per usual, completely missing the point.

I'm only paying attention to what you're saying. If I'm interpreting what you read correctly, you are saying that you don't agree that with Bluessol here on the opinion that democrats are totalitarian, I then replied to said comment saying that children working and doing chores builds character and work ethic is good. You then responded with a what I can only assume to be a stereotype of what you think a conservative would say, to which I replied that I don't think zoomers are totalitarians and that I myself am a zoomer and think that learning that working is good from a young age is beneficial and that I think it is for our own good. Did I get all of that right?

I didn't make the meme, it was already here on the site.
It applied to the comment I was replying to in the sense that that memer has expressed many of the same sentiments, albeit not exactly stated in that way. It satirizes that sort of absurdly overwrought attitude. It is also fitting with the theme of the OP meme.
