No it is not. Corporatism was called Mercantilism by our founding fathers. It is a collusion between corporations and the government. When it is Corporatism the government helps the businesses. When it is Fascism the corporations do what the government tells them to do. When it is socialism the businesses are owned and run by the government. When it is communism then it is the same as socialism only the business owners are killed.

With the Great Reset happening right before our eyes, the step to turn Corporatism into Fascism is under way. The Resetters are talking about ways to form public/private partnerships. ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) scores have been created to make sure that businesses who do what the governments (and that is governments (plural) because the Great Reset is global) tell them to do then those businesses will be cut off from getting bank loans and will be cut off from getting the resources they need to produce a product.

The Great Reset is the brainchild of the World Economic Forum and it's goal is to collapse the global economy, eliminate capitalism and great a global fascistic government that all nations must adhere to. There will be individual nations will still exist. The WEF is not talking about doing away with individual nations, they just want control of the world. And they are using climate change and the pandemic as their tools to make it happen. The WEF is the organization who is implementing the United Nation's Agendas 21 and 2030 (as in the century and the year it will all happen)

It sounds a whole lot like a conspiracy theory but you can find out what they are doing just by going to their web sites. They are hiding the bad parts and couching the entire take over as solving climate change. Our current high inflation has been caused by the Resetters who are pulling on that senile brainless twit they installed in the White House. The Resetters (and the International Monetary Fund) are pushing Modern Monetary Theory as the means to make it all happen. MMT is the idea that governments can just print however much money they need to spend on climate change. So when AOC's Green New Deal failed to pass, then Biden and the Federal Reserve fired up the printing presses and started printing money at a rate that not even Obama had ever seen. They are spending that money on everything that would have been spend to make the Green New Deal happen without Congress. That is why we have inflation right now.

There’s actually two definitions for corporatism. One relates to organizing society into collective groups (military, scientific, ect)
The other definition refers to dominance of corporations in capitalism.
Corporations aren’t just told to do under communism, they are owned by the government and told what to do. This, however, is not true for all socialistic ideologies like socialist anarchism. Socialism in its simplest form is mostly about eliminating private ownership by businesspeople and companies so the means to production can be shared by everyone apart of a company.
When it comes to private ownership, communists believe in government ownership while anarchists believe in self-interest and how owning things on your own that are essential (food, personal entertainment, housing, etc) is ok to be managed by the individual.

Socialism is total government control. It tells everyone what you told me, that it is the people who control the means of production but in practice that never happens. It is the central planners who decides what the people need.

We already have control of production in a free market. Production is determined by supply and demand. If there is no demand, i.e. the consumer don't want the product then we stop buying it and it doesn't matter how much or how little the supply is production stops.

When production is controlled by the consumer then there is no need for the government. That is why anarcho-capitalism is an easy concept to understand. I am not an anarchist of any kind but I've talked to enough of the to appreciate what they want to accomplish.

Socialism is total government, there is no freedom at the individual level. None. Without private property rights no one is free. It is like the difference between renting an apartment and owning a house (that isn't part of a Nazi HOA). If you want to paint the walls a different color in an apartment then you need approval of the landlord and most of the time it is a flat out no. If you want to paint the walls of a house, even if the bank still owns most of the house the only thing that would stop you is time and money. You can do whatever you want to your house because you own it. You don't own an apartment, someone else does and you live their at their mercy.

Private ownership is an absolute necessity if people are to be free.

Do not think I hate Canada or Canadians. I have no problems with Canada. Much of Canada is spectacularly gorgeous. The few Canadians I have met have been very nice people. I just feel bad that so many Canadians seem to think socialism is the way to go, not even caring about what socialism has done everywhere it has been tried. You elected Mr. Great Reset himself, Justin Trudeau, who swears fealty not to the Canadian people but to the World Economic Forum.
