"Logic is the beginning of wisdom ... not the end." - Spock | Let's do this logically, shall we Mr. Spock? African empires captured and sold the blacks. Democrats bought and enslaved the blacks. Republicans fought and died to free the blacks. Today's black want to be called "African" Americans. And they vote Democrats. While accusing Republicans as racists. Bet $50 none of these liberal trolls know or would acknowledge that the concept of American slavery was introduced to the US through a Supreme Court Case - Casor vs Anthony, where an Angolan black plantation owner sued for the right to keep his indentured servant as a slave due to his cultural practice.

So in fact, BLACKS introduced slavery into the USA and how? By using liberalism, accepting other culture's practices, to be "tolerant" and "inclusive." So the US "included" Angolan slavery practice and this became the US slavery era.

Facts don't care about your feelings.

"Encyclopedia Virginia

In 1655, John Casor—a man enslaved in the Virginia Colony—sued for his freedom. Mr. Casor argued that he was an indentured servant who had been forced by his enslaver, Anthony Johnson, to serve past his term. On March 8, 1655, the court ruled against Mr. Casor, declared him enslaved for life, and ordered him to return to Johnson."

OH! The liberals gonna explode on this one.

1. It has not been debunked because it is true.
2. Ever heard of the American Colonies?
3. It kinda did. You have to do more research. But Angolan slavery was slavery for life.
4. Yes it does. Because they were all democrats and followed liberalism.
5. Do you not read or know anything about US history? Casor was black. Anthony Johnson was white. No one believed Casor and thought lesser of him because of the color of his skin.
6. I can't believe I am saying this, but they did not. They have been salves to the world long before and Britain already practiced slavery before they made the American Colonies.
7. Yes but not very common. It was INDENTURED SERVANTS! They would only work for 3 to 7 years for the person and were sent there from Britain while Britain's government paid for them to go oversees to the colony.
8. Get your facts straight before you try to brainwash someone else too.

My bad I argue with others everyday and I mixed up one of the many Jackson's in history. But it did start the downright wrong treatment towards blacks after this court case. The slavery in the United States followed some of the Angolan slavery practices. The Democratic party of Britain, or whatever the name was until they adopted that name. This court case was one with the American colonies. The supreme court at this time was Britain's because Britain controlled the colonies from across the ocean.

sorry....the importation of slaves ended in 1807 but the sale of slaves continued until 1865. The democrat party was created in 1828 and was the political party of the slave holding south. your right as to the cause of the civil war...the fact is the northern states said they owned the southern states and they had no right to self determination or freedom from the north, this sense of ownership was increased by the fact that northern banks had financed slavery and stood to lose a great deal of money if the south obtained their freedom.

They felt like they were the property of the northern states , the north was a insurmountable voting block, the north enacted export tariffs that made it harder for cotton to be sold on the open market made it necessary to sell it to a discounted captive northern textile market rather than England. Separation from England was very much a northern concept rather than a southern one and was based on economic gain. we were anything but a single nation in 1861 just like today.

And add to that; slavery in the newly formed US was on it's way out because it wasn't economically viable at that point. The reason being there was no real work that a slave or regular employee could do on plantations, mainly farming, because of very early industrialization and the lands on the plantations were on were not farm friendly.
Then Andrew Jackson(before he was president) came along, committed one of the first Trail of Tears and sold the stolen better land to slave owners. That land was better for growing crops which in turn let the slave owners get more slaves and revitalized the slave industry,

1. The American Colonies were all democrats because of the democratic party in Britain. And don't argue it is not the same because the democratic party in the US is just copy and paste the democratic party in Britain from all those years ago.
2. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WAS FORMED ON THE BASIS TO FIGHT AGAINST SLAVERY! Get your facts straight and Lincoln only said that to fool the democrats in the Union. Lincoln grew up his whole life hating slavery and opposing it.
3. Not all Republicans are racist. Not all Democrats are racist either. But there are racists on both sides of the lines so no one can really accuse one party or another if they are racist or not.

The party that existed in Britain was the democratic party before it adopted the name.
Fool as in to make the Democrats happy so they wouldn't destroy the Union or country.
That is my bad. I got upset on that last one. I am a Republican and people call me racist all the time just because of the party I support.

To paraphrase: no republican alive today fought to free a slave and no democrat alive owned one.

Africa is made up of many peoples. Not all African nations participated.

The Democratic party was established in 1828 - the civil war was in 1861.

Republicans and northern Democrats who didn't secede. You should read up on war Democrats and copperheads.

African Americans - as opposed to?

Vote democrat - not all. Black people dying owe anyone a vote.

I don't think people meet up to vote on who is or isn't racist. People make that call on their own. Given that conservatives seem to think Democrats are all globalist communists stealing elections... Maybe don't throw stones when it comes to assuming the worst about political opponents.

You're just nitpicking to avoid the facts.

1) "no republican alive today fought to free a slave and no democrat alive owned one."

Yet is this not the Democrat narrative to make everyone, even foreign immigrants that had nothing to do with slavery, to pay for reparation?

2) "Republicans and northern Democrats who didn't secede."

Yet is not majority of plantation owners, Democrats? Is not KKK formed by the most powerful and influential Democrat politicians and elites? Yet are not Democrats accusing "all" of Republicans as racists?

3) "African Americans - as opposed to?"

With all your rhetorics, yet you don't know this one? How about just "Americans?" Your racism is showing.

4) "Maybe don't throw stones when it comes to assuming the worst about political opponents."

Oh here's the BIG one. I am NOT a Republican nor a conservative. You would actually know that if you've read my comments as of late rebuking the conservatives.

Yet you profile me based on 1 meme and because I spoke against Democrats, you assume I am a Republican. You're a hypocrite and not a smart one either.

You sure try hard to "sound" smart, but you're really not anywhere on my level. Sit.

1. Reparations - IDK. I'll cross that bridge when/if any proposal starts to get traction. I'm thinking it isn't going to happen. As far as foreign born, if it is decided that something is owed to the descendants of Slaves, it would be an American debt. If someone immigrated today they would share in the responsibility we have towards our existing debts, which are substantial.

2. There was a split between Northern and Southern Democrats even before secession, but yes, the south was predominantly democrat. As far as all Republicans - Everyone forms biased, so we are all capable of racism. But no, not all of any group is one way. But while not all Republicans are racist, we are judged by the company we keep. And whatever the history of the two parties, it isn't Democrats flying the Confederate flag, making excuses for police brutality, etc.

3. All Americans - that argument would be better if your meme wasn't "black people" identity politics

4. I went through the first page of your posts - seems fairly right of center. Maybe point me to a meme that demonstrates your bipartisan scorn.

Your level - that's for others to judge, but thus far I'm unimpressed.

Holy cow the level of ignorance. Something tells me you have never really been to the south. How did the democrats buy the slaves to work the sugar cane in the 1700's.

Try taking a trip, and visiting a plantation or two. Maybe a museum would help.

Another McD liberal getting triggered by truth. The slaves were bought from Eurotraders in the Trans-Atlantic trade, a 3 legged trade route between Europe, Africa, and USA. This is basic high school history.

And... you are blocked.
0 ups, 3y
Oh boohoo, blocked me!! There was no UAS in the 1700
0 ups, 3y
But not all slaves were bought. Let's not forget that while slavery was a thing the world over, hereditary slavery meant the children of slaves were also owned.

"In the nineteenth century, the majority of slaves in the British Caribbean and Brazil were born in Africa. In contrast, by 1850, most US slaves were third-, fourth-, or fifth-generation Americans."
