... after Biden's most recent failure in Afghanistan, ... the 81 million people who voted for him should be dug up, shot and reburied

That would be a good one if the lies about dead people voting were true.

It seems far-fetched but I'll have to give you credit if it turns out to be true.

I wonder how many of y'all legitimately think our democracy is a joke/election was stolen............ and yet are also somehow surprised that our efforts to install a democracy in Afghanistan failed.

No, they're just making more excuses for him and doing what he's doing . . .blaming Trump. At least they are on this site.

Of course, if Trump was still president and went through with his pledged withdrawal from Afghanistan, I bet you would be praising him for not wanting any more U.S. troops losing their lives.

All you're doing is agreeing with me and rephrasing the first half of my comment. Most on the politics stream seem to not know about the May 1st thing.

"the May 1st thing" is a fact, quick Google search will give you all of the info you need, I'm not going to do that for you.

I can't speak for anyone else (I don't prejudge others), but I praise both Trump and Biden for not wanting any more U.S. troops losing their lives.

I blame Biden for trashing Trump's plan and I also blame Biden for f**king up the execution of his own plan. I also mock Biden for trying to shift the blame to Trump, the Afghan army, the time of year, the intel community, and that fact that August has six letters. I also think that he's a giant douche for not addressing the nation sooner and then getting out of Dodge once he was done as fast as he can.

Clear enough for you dim one?

'Quick Google search' is a weird thing to write since I never denied it. In fact, I not only didn't deny it, I referred to it, when I wrote 'pledged withdrawal.' The whole thing is a badly executed mess but I'm trying to make the point that Trump supporters would be praising him for withdrawing, even with the same outcome with the Taliban.

You're "trying to make a point" that you can't make, because it's hypothetical. Trump's plan was based on the situation at hand and not tied to the date unless ground intel supported it. It was the same with Bush's withdrawal plan. Obama, and now Biden, ignored that information and put hundreds of our own people in peril along with thousands of Afghans.

Biden finally getting it over with and withdrawing wasn't planned or executed well, but it happened. Trump had 4 years to do it better. It might be hypothetical on whether Trump would have had a superior plan and execution.

No such thing happened, try living in reality instead of "what if".
If your father had tits he'd be your mother. See how stupid playing "what if" is?

Trump had 4 years to do what he kept saying he would do, then Biden actually gets it over with and does it. You people would be praising him even if it turned out to be a mess like how Biden executed it.

If Trump bungled it the way Dementia Joe has, you bet I would be 100% critical of him.

Since it's all speculation, I would say that there's no way Trump could bungle it as badly as Dementia Joe has. The Taliban either feared Trump, or at a minimum had a healthy respect for him as far as being commander in chief. Biden? Nothing to fear there... obviously.

If you think about it, Obama and Trump were probably worried about the huge scrutiny and PR nightmare that would come with actually withdrawing. I'll give Biden credit for actually taking the hit and trying something to actually physically withdraw.

On the politics stream I'm seeing plenty of "what ifs" about how Trump would've done it better and smarter.

He would have. That's not a what if, it's a fact. He gave the Taliban a stern warning about what not to do or it wouldn't end well for them and they didn't do jack shit.

You people need to stop blaming Trump for all your failures. It was a bad look while he was president, but it's just sad now that he's not.

An opinion is a what if. I suppose our discourse here may reflect the political divide in America right now; we're just not going to agree.

We don't have to agree. The important thing is to have a civil discourse.

No US troop deaths in Afghanistan since Feb 2020 since Trump negotiated with the Taliban and they stopped attacking US forces. Why? He threatened them and they believed he would follow through. They see Biden is weak and incompetent. Only the leftists don’t see that.

He is too old to be president in my opinion, and a stutterer, but the Taliban should fear the U.S. military regardless of who's at the top of the chain.

Not if they know leadership lacks the will to act.

There is no what if here, Biden took action and he royally f**ked it up. Stop going back to Trump in means to excuse Biden's piss poor actions. Let me guess, it is Trumps fault Biden likes to sniff children? Or pedophiles are OK in your book as long as they are not Trump?

I'm not one of those who love Biden, he is creepy and a likely P-grabber. Also, it's possible that his defense advisors were terrible and that could have happened with Trump. Trump didn't even take the risk of f**king up though.

I seriously think this is all staged to put Kamala in the president position. Which is a nice promotion for her from being on her knees... not that she is going to stop being on her knees.
