Ad hominem - if it's true it's true. Even if everything you said was true, that would make him a hypocrite but doesn't refute the accusation.

Crime bill - the crime bill had support in both sides. Violent crime in the 90s was at the highest it had been in decades and has declined sharply since. I'm not defending it, just adding context.

Joe Biden uses the n word? The only instance I can find was him quoting someone else in a hearing in 1985.

Whatever KKK group and its members, former or otherwise, as well as other racist groups like Unite the Right that endorsed Trump, were "denounced" by the Grand Cheeto only reluctantly after much public outcry and pressure.

He disavowed them before the publication came out. He denounced them after the publication. He forsaked them multiple times.

Now show me where Hillary denounced them endorsement.

Literally right in the opening line of BOTH articles.

2 ups, 3y
Try to stay with me now.

You asked a question about
TWO articles, so all these
words may be too much for
you to comprehend, but the
least you can do is try.

————————————

Article 1: Are you angry that
the racist KKK leader dumped
Trump for Hillary? Or are you
mad that you can’t use it as a
crutch to denigrate Trump like
you Leftists love to do?

Modda: “Oh no!!! The KKK
doesn’t like Trump anymore.
Now we can’t use it to call
him a racist!!!”

————————————
One down, one to go. Are
you still hanging in there?
Is it too much for you? We
are almost done. Don't quit!
————————————

Article 2: Are you so focused
on his ‘stumble’ that you didn’t
see the part about his “crystal
clear disavowal”, his disavowal
on “numerous occasions”, or
him disavowing him “in the past”
and “now”.

Modda: “I can’t believe he
stumbled ona question about
the KKK. He must like them
even though he has told them
to screw off many times in the
past.”

————————————

Let me guess…TL;DR again?

"Buck_Fou_Yiden

No, what I said was:

Literally right in the opening line of BOTH articles."

Hope that clarifies things!

Using the term “TL;DR” simply means you are unable to comprehend more than 50 words at a time.

Thank you for continuing to confirm our suspicions about your mental capacity.

Nope. See you are confusing white supremists (racists) with white nationalists (Caucasian patriots) and calling them all alt-right. When in fact white supremists are far left.
3 ups, 3y,

Racism and Nationalism are in fact two distinct things. However, they aren't mutually exclusive and they tend to overlap, if for no other reason than a white supremacist can pretend they are just nationalists. They get to act the same but claim different motive. Fun.

Nationalist movements tend to want nations along racial lines. So when you identify yourself as a white nationalist, the expectation is that you want to be part of a white nation that focuses on white values/culture and anyone who doesn't share those values should go elsewhere. Preferably 'back where they came from' or to another nation which aligns with their race and ancestral values. You don't want 'inclusive' laws that care about other cultures because they shouldn't be here, right?

And if that isn't what you want, then why are you using the term nationalist?

You can't achieve a white nationalist state without either getting non-whites to leave, conform, or of depriving them of rights such as representation.

Maybe its just the propaganda of a public education talking, but the idea that you would try to reclassify certain Americans as second class citizens offends me to my core. The idea that people here don't have the right to participate in democracy and propose new laws and to get them implemented if they have the votes is ridiculous.

White supremacists are far left -> White supremacists are like cockroaches. They are everywhere. However, White supremacists haven't gravitated toward the party that supports BLM, elected a black president, etc. That isn't where they have fled to.

Your overlap comment just doesn't work. There's overlap in almost everything. A white supremacist can also be a chef...doesn't mean chefs are white supremacists. The same logic works across nouns and adjectives. Racism and Nationalism are different and any overlap simply means that you may find "some" racists that are Nationalists and vice versa. But the KKK adopted a socialistic stance early on, which is why you still have racist Democrats running around in the south that have never voted, and never will, vote Republican. I'm surrounded by these ignorant f**ks, who fortunately are dying off. White nationalism...isn't used by many nationalists, mostly by someone trying to tie them to racism. One can be a nationalists and not promote racism. Someone in the most diverse country in the world, choosing to be "country first" would actually be the total opposite of the nationalist in Sweden or some other country with one race dominating over 90% of the population. Context matters. Someone who is 'America First' is advocating the rites of Americans over that of other countries' people...which would mean that American diversity would trump China's lack of diversity.

I'm a nationalist, proud of it, because I love America with all its colors. And, I want to preserve it so that it doesn't fall to a collectivist mindset that would destroy it and its ability to remain the light on a hill for other nations. Unfortunately, people have a hard time differentiating between white nationalism and nationalists in general.

Your overlap comments are attempting to make all things equal and they aren't. Some groups have very little overlap, others have a lot. If you don't see why white supremacists would overlap with white nationalists...well. Is that what you are saying?

KKK - Socialist -> Bullshit. You can't substantiate that.

One can be a nationalist and not promote racism - agreed. But I'm going to insist on knowing what qualifier comes before nationalist then. German? Irish? You can't just be a nationalist, because that isn't what nationalist means.

You make the case for American Nationalism, but I'd want to make really sure that anyone using that label meant the same thing I meant. And that is the danger of words without context. Lokaire said white nationalists are Caucasian patriots, and you seem to agree with me that when people say white nationalist they mean something that isn't' that. So, when people say they are a nationalist...I mean I would personally stay away from the word and just stick with patriot, but if I insisted on sticking with it, I'd be ready to say why.

America First...similar in that you can be for America first in the same way that you pay your bills before helping out family - it isn't selfish to take care of your own basic needs. But like nationalist groups, xenophobes and racists can sneak in and try to steer that ship in their direction because there is overlap in goals there, if not in the reasons for those goals.

I would point out one thing: the money we give other countries isn't selfless. We are promoting American interests. We give more than other countries to groups like NATO and WHO, but we expect to have more say in those groups policies as well. The current pandemic should show why giving to the WHO is important. I get that they could have handled COVID better, but you don't get rid of the fire department because a house burned down - you fix the fire department. Seriously - we don't give money away unless we are getting something. You could make the case that we should mind our own business, but the last time we had an America First policy was leading up to WWII and we ended up changing our minds.

That's the danger in letting the left redefine words. 20 years ago if someone said you were a white nationalist, you wouldn't even blink, and agree with them. Because it just meant you were white and you were a nationalist.
In the past few years the left has redefined the words in the media to mean something else entirely. When someone repeats these words that the left redefined, you should correct them and let them know the actual definition, then make fun of CNN for redefining it.
