It could've come from a lab STUDYING coronaviruses. However, due to the fact that this was an internationally-supervised lab, with cooperation from the WHO, so I seriously doubt it was a bio-weapon. Could it have been a coronavirus studied there, yes. It could've been developed as a vaccine gone awry, but I actually tend to favour the theory that it either mutated in Wuhan or was discovered there. I think, and I'm not a doctor or scientist, but I believe it was a cold coronavirus, which have been common for millenia, that mutated to spread more and kill more. After all, they found "flu" deaths in France, which when an autopsy was conducted due to curiosity, ended up as COVID-19 deaths due to traces of COVID found in the deaths. I believe it masqueraded as the flu until it found its way into Wuhan, which just so happened to have a lab studying coronaviruses. Because of this, they discovered it. This could also be a factor in the way it spread, as despite Wuhan locking down and most countries banning travel, it could've been halfway across the world. The spike proteins being very similar is a bit suspicious, I'll look into that.
