To all the lefties in the comments:
-The CDC says you can take off your mask if you are vaccinated fully
-People who are vaccinated and do not have covid currently are very very very very like triple rainbow very unlikely to give you covid
-also logic sense ppl. We can't wear masks forever. We have to get back to normal. It's finally happening! And happening fast.... just roll with the punches. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO TAKE OFF YOUR MASK, FINE. But please do so eventually, we all want normal life to come back. I do, and so do millions of people like me :)

Have a good day, with best regards... me

The Walmarts in my city have taken down the signs requiring masks. My state lifted the mask mandate a month ago and it took Walmart and the other stores about 3 weeks to take their signs down.

Well, national chains have to answer to their overlords (the lawyers, whose job it is to protect them from lawsuits). Therefore, the signs probably didn't come down until the CDC made their announcement on 5/13/21.

Despite what your state ruled and when, the local Walmart manager isn't going to ditch the national corporate rules and take the signs down and risk his own job.

You still probably should wear one, the coronavirus may have a low mortality rate, but people still die from it. Although it's mostly older people, my point is still not totally invalidated.

Your still at risk if your vaccinated it doesn’t mean your not immune it just decreases your chances of getting the virus

*you're Einstein - I'm going to take medical advice that can't keep his/her/its homonyms straight?

Do you really mean to stand here and tell me that you know more than the CDC? Do you have a link to any evidence published after 5/13/21 that will prove your point?

Funny how it's "my body my choice" when it comes to killing unborn babies but not when it comes to wearing a piece of cloth on my face.

Yes, my vaccine is 95% percent effective against a disease that even if I catch it will kill me 1% of the time.

Oh wow you're so smart 😐

'Wearing a piece of cloth' on your face is effective, Karen. Kills 1% of the time? Bitch even if you got the vaccine have you heard of something called spreading germs? No? Karen got something against evidence and facts? Didn't know we could piss off Conservative's by stating facts and opinion, pathetic. But I'm not surprised.

No, the best way to annoy a conservative is to post deliberate falsehoods and then keep claiming they are the only truth. It tends to annoy us after a while.

Abby_Normal I've totally got your back on this. My wife got vaccinated and we're done with masks.

Those who live their lives in fear can wear masks for the rest of their lives if they want but I prefer to breath fresh air.

Actually look up 'breakthrough cases' the vaccine offers almost no protection.

Maybe you can't but you can help others get covid by spreading germs, Karen! You're f**king dumb.
1 up, 4y
So now you're acknowledging that if I'm vaccinated and not wearing a mask I can't give someone else covid?

But I can "help others get it by spreading germs"? Which germs would those be besides the COVID virus?

Wow, now who's dumb?

If you are vaccinated, why are you in danger? You are such a facist moron.

And don't even bother bringing up the blank check of immunocompromised people. They can die of natural causes before we all wear a muzzle for them.

And if you do get it it will be a reduced reaction because the vaccine builds immunity. Nothings ever good enough for the antibreathers.

Ok, some actual facts:
The part of the virus that is harmful is the spike.
The vaccine takes over your cells and produces the spike.
Your body can't target the spike because its the same proteins used throughout your body and if it does you'll have an immune disorder where your body attacks itself.
Not only does the vaccine not do jack, it puts you and others at risk (you shed the spike proteins through sweat pores, eyes, nose, ears, and mouth and others take it in the same way. Its like getting covid without the virus.

Yes. I'm aware of that and I'm really not sure where you're going with that (?)... the goal here is reducing spread. Something doesn't have to be 100% effective for me to bother with it.

0 ups, 4y,

Yes, you seem to think that you can spread covid even if you're vaccinated. CDC says you can't.

Then, you double down by saying that even though you're vaccinated and wouldn't wear a mask outside you'll still wear one indoors.
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
Also.. as far as indoors... "CDC recommends people continue to take everyday actions to protect themselves and others, like wearing a mask, maintaining an appropriate distance from others, avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces, and washing hands often."

I'm not an expert on which buildings/spaces are "poorly ventilated" or not but I figure better safe than sorry.

Also, my neighbors are vaccine skeptics and as much as I think they're dummies, I don't want them to get covid-19..and I especially wouldn't want to be the one to accidentally give it to them.
0 ups, 4y,

Thanks for that, you're the only one that took me up on the challenge, so nice try. Big surprise that they've got fuzzy & contradictory info. Of course, you didn't provide a link, just a screen shot, so I can't go to it.

I'm still not seeing any evidence there that the fully vaccinated can spread the disease.

Here's the link that AND screen shot that tells me all that I need to know. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html

Finally, I'm fine with you choosing to wear a mask indoors, I just wanted to know why. As long as you don't make me wear a mask and I don't make you take yours off we'll get along fine.
0 ups, 4y
^Well this one's from the link you provided. "reduce the risk" meaning: there is still some risk of spreading the virus while vaccinated.

As far as my other one ya idk I just googled "CDC can fully vaccinated people spread covid" or something like that..

Fully vaccinated can obviously still get covid since the vaccines aren't 100% effective... ( I think they refer to these as "breakthrough cases"). And I'm assuming you acknowledge that...... So I'm not sure why you'd think it can be transmitted TO someone vaccinated but not FROM someone vaccinated.. (?)

Also, just to be courteous, I will put a mask on outside if someone else has one on and they are talking to me about something.
0 ups, 4y,

Its actually 0% effective at preventing covid spread. This is because you can get the virus through your eyes, ears, and sweat pores. You can spread it the same way.
Studies show that there is no difference in areas that force mask wearing and areas that don't.

Lokiare... do you understand how a vaccine works AT ALL???? A vaccine is designed to ward off covid-19 no matter how it enters your body, eyes, ears, nose, whatever. It does this by triggering the immune system to fight off Covid through a series of chemicals and antibodies. This comment.... I would recommend taking this down my good man/woman. For science.
0 ups, 4y,

I do understand. I also understand covid is a cold virus and there will never be an effective vaccine due to constant mutation.
