Why do you think violence is the only answer?

I said I am peaceful, and China is not, focusing on peace, how is that not on the comment

Because the overall conversation is about political correctness overruling reality.

This comment chain in particular was about a bi-racial high schooler failing after refusing to publicly confess his 'white dominance' and 'attach derogatory labels' to his race, gender, religious and sexual identity.

Which was relevant about the conversation was about a Georgetown Law Professor being fired for only sharing her personal experience about where her black students are in regards to their education.

The conversation was derailed by some violent asshole who was shut down for that nonsense. And then someone got all defensive for questioning why violence was not the answer, and also got called out for it. He got more defensive.. and I suggested he try to be more elaborate so he couldn’t be easily framed for supporting it.

Then you started going off about China.

Which still has nothing to do with this conversation.

Does that answer your question?

I am just adding that China is not for an example

Example or not, nothing to do with this conversation.

I call BS. Not on OP, but on the story. How does a video call between two professors end up on social media? Someone had to put it there. There is no mention of how this happened, or consequences for that. Sellers said that it bothered her that so many black students did not excel, even though some did. That's not racist. Black people are....black. Call me racist, find out my govt name and have me fired. Essentially, the same offense. That's why it seems like maybe it was 'designed' to piss people off. You get me? There' something not right here.

Remember Jeffrey Toobin, MsInga? These video calls and Zoom calls turn out to be not all that private. I think I read something about a student from Georgetown sharing the video with friends and then it went viral. Then, the media is like a dog w/ a bone if it sniffs out any apparent racism (no matter if real or contrived) to report on and they advanced it from there....

Oh, I found it quite interesting that the colleague who the fired professor was speaking with was placed on administrative leave pending further investigation by the "Office of Diversity, Equity and Affirmative Action". LMAO, I am POSITIVE that would be a fair and balanced review, LOL! Not! 😂

Yeah, after posting that I read that a student shared the video. That still feels shady to me. Who needs secret police if people are making public conversations intended as private? And why are these people not called out for it as well? It's sick.
1 up, 3y
Yes, free speech is anything but that these days, MsInga. The spoiled/whiny kids today are legion and the last thing they do is accept responsibility for anything.
