That can be said of every political group (in the US). Because of the population density of caucasians in the US - its not ironic that most (insert political affiliation here) are white in the US. Its a mathematical formula one can predict knowing things like population density by skin color groups.

The history textbooks do touch on the history of Ireland and Scotland but not nearly as much as they should. I'm all for teaching kids all about England's imperialism throughout the world. The US is but one part of that.
