I'm not certain it shows that he is being handcuffed. It could also be that he is in handcuffs and they are still on him. And I agree that "white privilege" is a horrible misnomer. But.
None of this changes that what happened to George Floyd, or that it was wrong.
Yes, I agree that George Floyd should not have had that much drugs in his system and that the police officer should not have kneeled on his neck for more than the amount of time it takes to handcuff him.
You are a criminal, you resist arrest, you gonna get kneed. Floyd had a physical conditing that is what eventually killed him, but you don't know if this dude died because no one talks about it.
Brutally has happened against all races. Fact. And the world didn't catch on fire when whites were brutalized. We went on with life. We were outraged; we talked about change... we didn't try to ruin the United States in our anger over the matter.
