Conservative Journalist incites violence at peaceful rally.
What was he thinking, going there like that?
Why would he provoke them?
9 ups, 5y
Is that satire?
8 ups, 5y
Exactly, why would a gay, Asian, conservative journalist risk his life by going to a rally full of racist bigots?

The only way he "incited" violence was by existing and not toeing the party line.

So...your point is that the "militant arm" of the Democratic party resists fascists and authoritarians who want to demolish democracy and that's...bad?

And that the KKK is...good?

I'm sorry. Which is it? Antifa is socialism or fascism? You can't be both.

Yes, fascism is a form of socialism. It’s based on the fact that if we’re all the same ethnicity, religion, values, culture, etc... then we’re all equal and happy to feed the state because what is good for the state is what is good for all.

I don’t think Democrats are pushing a fascist agenda exactly with their diversity agenda, but I can see them weaponizing diversity as a form to silence not just racists and sexists but also old people, whites, and men that don’t exactly fit into this new stereotype.

But the problem with stereotypes is that they have some basis in truth. And while the usual racist stereotypes against black people and women have grown stale and offensive, new ones are emerging that are not just kind of offensive but partially true.

It really would help if my fellow conservatives actually gave a damn instead of just trolling and trying to get one over on the liberals. They think winning is about getting what they want and happily letting people suffer, as if letting people suffer and told they don’t deserve rights, don’t deserve equality, and don’t deserve to be taken seriously isn’t in and of itself fascist sentiment as well.

Anti-fascists and white supremacists are polar opposites. Anyone with half a brain should know that.

The KKK has long-since moved to the Republican Party. Get over it.

Anti-fascists, on the other hand, don't affiliate with either party. Democrats are more left-leaning (most of them like to play it safe and believe in capitalism). Anti-fascism has always been a more far-left thing.

Also, Anti-fascists have never killed anyone and they never will. White supremacists have killed over thousands.

Horseshoe Theory. Google.

Polar opposites don't deploy the same methods of influencing change through thuggery, share the same goals of a world reshaped in their awesome image, and have the same mentality rooted in a need to belong to something larger than themselves because they have no viable identities to call their own.

The KKK hasn't moved to any party because it never belonged to one. No party membership cards required in the application process. Only those of a particularly strictly limited demographic can join, and the qualifications are racial identification, not political affiliation.

Democrats are the 'passive' lackeys of the Republicans. Note the astoundingly fierce resistance the House has given to Trump that's been on hold. One day they're going to do something about something they haven't gotten around to do something about yet.

Anti-Fascists never will kill anyone? What do they do, chuck wads of toilet paper at the sidewalk to express their frustration that Fallout 5 hasn't been released yet?

Yeah folks, catch Antifa at pep rallies and distributing copies of Watchtower magazine to festive onlookers.

Who they publicly endorse isn't remotely the same thing as who they actually vote for, which none of the links you provide are even able to say.

So do you have access to the voting lists? Might wanna be careful if you do, since it's not public record who you voted for, only that you actually voted, therefore it might be illegal for you to have. Although you're probably safe from prosecution, if you live in Germany.

The only legal way to know who someone voted for in the US is if they tell you themselves, and then you'd have to trust they didn't lie. I'm sure many people will claim they voted democrat next year, if only because they fear for their safety otherwise.

"Who they publicly endorse isn't remotely the same thing as who they actually vote for, which none of the links you provide are even able to say. "

KKK "Journalist"; Yeah so boss, we uh votin' for Trump?
KKK Boss: Why do you think we have fully endorsed him sunny! Of course not

"The only legal way to know who someone voted for in the US is if they tell you themselves"

Good thing that they parade around the fact that they think Trump is the saviour of America then

"I'm sure many people will claim they voted democrat next year, if only because they fear for their safety otherwise."

I'm sure many people will claim they voted Republican next year, if only because they fear for their safety otherwise.
1 up, 5y
Yes, no idea how the Klan voted because no notorized proof there yet your crystal nuts have told you that surely many people will claim they voted Demoncrat next year because they fear for their safety otherwise from some anemic kale munching Anarchist College dweebs dressed in black who are thus Democrats because joining the KKK is so grandaddy passe?

Sheesh, do you not even attempt to process the sheer silliness of your knee jerk malarky or is logic just something to satirize in your spare time?

I live in the South. KKK members are old Democrats. Some of the younger ones do lean hard right it but are still socialist in their economic policy. That's why Hillary was endorsed by the KKk in California.

intresting. Doesn't disprove the facf that the main KKK endorsed, probably voted and support Trump

The "main KKK", whatever that is, makes up less than .01 percent of the population. Many of those ignorant f**ks don't even vote. Their impact on anything is negligible, and the only reason they get any attention at all is so that the media can overplay their influence. They only have a few sparcely attended rallies across the states every year, and only lately have the media tried to make it out to be some national problem. And sure they voted for Trump, if they voted at all, not because they agree on everything, but because there is common ground on some of their key issues, like immigration and gun control etc...the same reason most others voted for him. They also like lower taxes. But, they weren't the ones that got Trump elected. 20% of those who voted for Trump were Democrats who voted for Obama.

Then don't mention them. You can't complain about the KKK being prevelant in Media when you yourself bring them up to point out the fact that the Conservative Dems of the 1800s founded them and use this as evidence that the Liberal Dems we all hate/love are evil racist people. You have no ground to stand on whatsoever if you use that argument.

I was answering your comment which brought them up in a general fallacious manner. Just correcting your logical fallacy. You seem to want to link them to one party when they are fairly fluid. They were and are prevalent within multiple parties, not something you'd understand since you don't live here and are limited in your news intake and historical knowledge. You lack context, something that keeps you from painting an accurate picture. And I don't recall bringing their conception into the point I was making. Perhaps you're mistaking my comment from someone else. They're bad people, but they are insignificant until the media blows up their numbers for the sake of ratings and narratives.
2 ups, 5y
"Just correcting your logical fallacy. "

You would have. Were my argument that they singlehandedly voted Trump into office. Which it is not. My entire argument on this topic has been that the KKK are Republican Voters. It doesn't matter that they are a minuscule procent of the Republican Voter base. I was just pointing out this fact on memes where the KKK is depicted as being Pro-Dem, which admittedly they were, but they no longer are.

"You seem to want to link them to one party when they are fairly fluid."

Again. I am not denying that they used to support the Dems. Just pointing out who they support nowadays.

"They were and are prevalent within multiple parties"

in both* You only have two parties that matter

Yes. And now they are prevalent among the radical supporter base of the Republican party

"news intake and historical knowledge."

The internet. Such a useful tool

"And I don't recall bringing their conception into the point I was making."

Look at the meme i who'es comment section we are talking in

"Perhaps you're mistaking my comment from someone else."

Mayhaps I have misread your argumentation a bit
