Having a place of employment isn't a right.

I wasn't really referring to that. No one should discriminate against anyone's sex or religion. And if a business is still doing that, they're committing a crime.

Jobs aren't a right because it isn't up to the employer to pay your bills, it's up to the employee. If your job doesn't pay enough then go look for another job that does. There are plenty of trade schools that will train you and place you into a job that pays well and are always looking for workers.

It's also no one's business what you like to do sexually. But everyone seems to push it out into the open.

Where are you finding these stories? I know for a fact they'd be in the mainstream quicker than you can say "that's gay."

Seems most of the times when this happens the employer either has a religious doctrine they follow (such as christian schools or universities), or maybe, you know, bringing up your sexual orientation while you are strapped to another person skydiving doesn't always produce the results you expect.

Not to mention the hundreds of trans ready and willing to lay down their lives in the armed forces, which is more than most of these guys are willing to do including any trump, yet he wants to deny that.

People are denied entry into the US military for FAR less serious conditions, whether medical or mental.

You do know there is a direct relationship with the reduction in crime that was seen, beginning about 13yrs after Roe v Wade, right? Crime has dropped and has remained lower nationwide. Must be you prefer to pay for diapers, welfare, life long dependency for unloved children who's parents would have preferred to abort before birth and pay for the life long welfare of those mothers, the prison system that many of those children will need after they kill and rape, and the deaths those unloved, unwanted children will commit through murder.

If a child is born who's parents would have preferred to abort, just exactly what kind of positive outcome are you expecting to see? History has proven that it is not a positive one.

It's not quite so black and white - it's not that the right cares nothing for the needy. In fact, I challenge you to find the statistics that say that conservatives donate less to charity than liberals. It's just the source of the help to the needy is different - conservatives think it should be voluntarily given as donations, while liberals tend to think it should be taken by taxation.

Not all single, poor, mothers have adequate donations just given to them by people voluntarily on a day to day basis.

Donations go up around Christmas time. These people will need help ALL year and it is a known fact that the number one factor keeping a single woman in poverty is having a child.

Forcing a woman to have a child takes away your right to voluntarily pay for it. It will be mandated for all of us.

Conservatives (as a whole, most, like people in general, do not give spit) do contribute more money and time. However, there's a tendency for it to be as asked by their church, and not for causes outside of that.

It is not accident that taxes are highest in European countries that are more homogeneous, as they see it as going to help their fellow citizens, whereas in more mixed places like the USA, people have more qualms about it, thinking more about themselves.

That is why taxes are a necessity, after all. Otherwise there isn't a whole lot that charitable contributions courtesy of church going conservatives is going to do in the poorer States they tend to be concentrated in.

Yes, you've told me your point of view that an unloved baby is better off dead. I still think it's a horrible position and total nonsense - I've met a lot of very successful people who were adopted or even some who had very abusive parents yet were still good productive people.

Yeah, that's true. But, the right has a tendency to not be pro-life as much as they are pro-birth. Once born, all bets are off the table and the child is someone else's problem. Not so. If abortion is illegal we need to cough up the additional funds that it will cost us because having a child does not make one responsible. Also, we'll be saving a life only to kill someone else's, through murder and other problem behaviors we'll see increase. There is no doubt about that.

On another point, what makes you think that just because it is outlawed, women won't do it anyway? Do you believe new laws to keep criminals away from guns, will all magically stop criminals from getting them?

Women will go back to the old ways and take abortion back into their own hands. It can't be stopped.
