Let's not pretend that the word "Nationalist" doesn't have a history mixed up with White Supremists. That's why I'm fine with saying Jesse Owens was a Patriot, but won't get mixed up with the word Nationalist.

How is that even remotely "white supremacist"? And are you calling Asians white supremacists? Because a fair number of Asian countries are highly nationalist, including Japan and China.

There are also a number of middle-eastern countries that are quite nationalist as well.

Hell, the left /celebrates/ the movie 'Black Panther', which depicts a supremely nationalist, and in fact /isolationist/, country in Africa, much like Japan used to be. And it became the most advanced country in the world thanks to those policies (as well as their supply of marysuemantium, the omnipotent macguffin metal that they kept to themselves.

Even by the end of the movie, they haven't given those policies up, they've only dialed them down a little bit. The holographic "shield" over the country was still there hiding them in Avengers Infinity War.

@JackFrost - you're right of course, there are other forms of Nationalism that have nothing to do with White Supremacists, although the word still often refers to negative aspects, whereas Patriotism emphasizes the more positive aspects. The picture in the meme though shows one of the most extreme examples of the negative examples of radical Nationalism. I'm sorry but in my opinion the word is tainted. I have no problem with Patriotism, but I'm suspicious when I hear the word Nationalism.

That's why these words called "modifiers" exist. IE "radical" nationalism, or "white" nationalism. (Which I do not defend, nor have I seen any hard, non-anecdotal evidence of in Trump.)

The problem at the moment is that ANY nationalism shown by white people is called "white" nationalism by leftists, which makes it blatant hate propaganda.

No, racism is never okay. I have no idea what you are referring to in the last statement, but racism is never okay. The problem isn't that ANY nationalism is defined as "white" nationalism by "leftists", the problem is that Conservatives used to call out racism, but now many seem to excuse it or look the other way. There is a perfectly good word "Patriotism" that is uncontroversial, but President Trump, who often uses racist dog whistles and said that there were good people on both sides of a white supremacist rally used the word "Nationalism". In his hands the words is suspect given the history of the word has it's association with the Nazis. This is what we're really talking about isn't it? Instead of trying to rehabilitating a suspect word, and accusing Democrats and Liberals of a a bunch of stuff, why not just say that Patriotism is a good thing, and stay away from a suspect word?

I do have some awareness of The Kalergi Plan. If it's not a conspiracy,I don't think it's going to succeed. EU's on its way to collapse,nationalism is on the rise,and the mass deportations will happen.

I hope so. No one should have their ways of life changed by accepting immigration. But the question is whether people will wake up and stand up for their traditions before it's too late.
