The government doesn't require us to put up fences to protect our own property, either. But it does require us to pay taxes on a formation proving to have consistant flaw in design.

For example, I have a fence to keep people from wandering onto my property. Am I racist? No, because the barrier keeps out anyone from wandering onto my property. Not just a specific people.

But my fence can be climbed and bypassed. In the end, the fence doesn't keep people off my property. My gun does.

And if the government wants guns at the border. If it wants drones, personel, trucks, and facilities then it has my support.
