Still, the founders of the US fought and died for their freedom. To waste that would be disrespectful. I think that the US just needs to get its rubbish together and actually work. As the saying goes: If congress were on fire, It'd be a struggle for it to pass the "Dump Water on Congress Act." If the nation would actually listen, and depolarize, the United States would be a MUCH better place. We'd be able to get so much more done. Instead, there's a government shutdown, which is putting government employees into poverty and preventing tax returns on every citizen. And for what? To make a point? Because the organization that is meant to run one of the largest countries in the world can't work with itself? Geez.
