I know you guys have a hard time doing abstract thought. I get it. But if I meant the Democratic party I would have said. I dunno how you got to "it's anti Democractic Party!" that but hey, that's your problem.
I dunno why I'm gonna type this out. You won't accept or even attempt to understand what I mean. You'll immediately discount and discredit anything. But here goes:
The Constitution, as written by the framers, is provably anti-democratic process. Why do I say this? Two reasons: the US Senate and the Electoral College.
Both of these are meant to subvert the will of the people. It took the 17th Amendment to fix the Senate. And if you're thinking "how is the elected senate anti-democratic?"
Go back and look up Article I, § 3, Clauses 1 and 2 as to how Senators originally got their job. But also consider the completely fictitious Jefferson/Washington breakfast where the Senate where in this exchange took place (it didn't)
There is a tradition that Jefferson coming home from France, called Washington to account at the breakfast-table for having agreed to a second, and, as Jefferson thought, unnecessary legislative Chamber.
"Why," asked Washington, "did you just now pour that coffee into your saucer, before drinking?"
"To cool it," answered Jefferson, "my throat is not made of brass."
"Even so," rejoined Washington, "we pour our legislation into the senatorial saucer to cool it.
So...why would you need to "cool the legislation"? And if you answer "well, to make sure hot=headed things don't pass through the House. That cooler heads can consider the legislation."
Congratulations! You're complicit in subverting the will of the people, the very point of a democracy.
Now, the electorial college. Because you're a conservative and won't believe anything outside of your immediate personal experience, I need you to go look up how the Electors in the Electoral College get their job. And then what is that job?
Once you understand how they get their job and what that job is; ask yourself Why?
Why would you need that job in a democracy?
But let's be honest: you're not going to do ANY OF THAT. You're going to push forward with what you think you know and understand about the US Constitution.
