I remember hearing a few democrats say something similar to what you said. And it seemed like they might try harder to reconnect with the American citizen. But then Hillary's "blame everyone but herself" book came out.....

Failure to recognize the problem means failure to resolve the problem which in the end means no success.

These people often claim "Diversity" is important for a flourishing economy; It's important to include other backgrounds, but it isn't the main reason why our economy is mediocre. Japan is the least diverse country in the world, yet they have such a good economy.

Germany is diverse, and has an amazing economy

It IS good for everyone, except for the Democrats in power. If their constituents suddenly got jobs, got off of welfare and food stamps and could actually buy a car, or TV, or improve their standard of living they would have no reason to vote Democrat anymore. That is why they didn't applaud. It scares the Hell out of them that THEY might actually have to find jobs now instead of pandering to the poor, the blacks, the latino's and the homosexuals for votes.

It is amazing how one-sided democrats want politics to be

It Wasn't Because Of Trump...
So Why Applaud For Him...
1 up, 7y,

Actually, it was. Under King Barry our economy was in the toilet, which is exactly where he wanted it. Trump eased restrictions and brought companies back to our country, not Barry.
1 up, 7y
But by ditching trade pacts King Donald will drive companies to other countries with better and more open trading and liberalized labor and business markets. King Barry brought the country out of a recession by opening business possibilities. A recession caused by an economy that collapsed under a Republican administration.

Debt that has been lingering from the Reagan years? That had started to be decreased under Clinton but came back up again under W. Bush? Anyway I'm going to need more than three sentences from an anonymous person to prove any latent truths to me.

Obama was a OK president at best, that is if you factor out him, tripling our national debt, selling our souls to the devil in the Iran deal, not doing much to stop North Korea, decreasing our national defense, and allowing illegal immigration to go unstopped.
0 ups, 7y,

Not doing much to stop North Korea? It's under Trump that little bitty Kim Jong Un has expanded his nuclear capabilities, tested longer-strike missiles, and rattled his sabers more loudly. Trump is perfect for him; having a locker room d!ck-size contest with a mentally impaired billionaire allows him to get away with more infamy than when the previous administration was able to restrain him under the diplomatic table. And the Iran deal? Iran is currently being constantly surveilled by atomic experts and they have diminished their programs to almost non-existence. If Trump drops the treaty - which is actually beyond his powers - he will allow the Iranians to fire back up their programs if they choose and have nuclear weapons within a couple years, instead of the current decades. And there's little chance of European allies joining him. They'll just sit back and reap the business benefits of dealing with a 'rogue' country, while the US gets weaker and weaker under a 'president' who's primary interest is to tweet something outrageous and then spend the rest of the day eating McDonald's while watching the news media climb all over it. Right now the United States of America is all about Donald Trump's ego and not about the protection and needs of its citizens.

I would laugh if I didn't know you were serious. Do you honestly believe that NK developed a function nuclear program in a year, without testing of any kind?

Oh wait, they tested their nukes during Obama's reign. And what did he do? Apologize to the world and continue race baiting.
0 ups, 7y
North Korea has had nuclear capabilities for years. They used to use the threat to get food, now Little Rocket Boy has someone to irritate in Trump which gives him all the more reason to expand. Like Venezuela, ignoring North Korea would've weakened their insanity, but Cheeto Boy wants to make his d!ck seem big so we get apocalyptic threats.
0 ups, 7y
Iran's nuclear abilities diminished? Sure, diminished in the places we can actually look at in their regime, Obama in the Iran deal also gave Iran billions of dollars we could be using for America, and when the treaty reaches it's expiration date, the have the blueprints for nukes given to them by Obama. Kin Jong Un is just needing to try to prove he can do things against Trump, with Obama he already knew he could. I also didn't think that presidents were required to always eat in 5-star restaurants. I always though they had a choice about what they ate like the rest of us. Donald Trump is not bringing America down the gutter like Clinton and Obama did.

It's hard to take your comments seriously when you put "Cheeto boy" in your statement. Just saying.
1 up, 7y
Oh, and what "successes" are you referring to? Are you referring to medical insurance that was supposed to cost less than our phone bill? Or is it when he said that the NSA isn't spying on us? Or maybe those taxpayer-funded necessities like teaching South African men how to wash their junk, or studying the mating habits of cockroaches? Or maybe when he said that I didn't build my business? Or the race war that he started? Or all the apology touches? Which successes are you talking about, snowflake?

Imbecile boy? Wow. I'm not surprised by your insults though because I expect them from liberals toward anyone who questions their reality. No wonder liberals are so hated in our country.

Yeah, I must apologize for assuming you were like every other boob on this stream. Looking at your stuff on here makes me think you were just challenging me, which is a good thing. I agree with your assessment; every president takes credit for as much of their predecessor's good things as possible. Obama got the benefit of some smart moves at the end of W. Bush's administration. Just tired of arguing with partisans on here who will expect me to just accept their beliefs without a debate on the merits, or even just some proof.

Really?

Because the government says the GDP 4th quarter 2016 was 1.5 percent, annualized and averaged.

4th quarter 2017 was 2.6 percent, also annualized and averaged.

One has to be dumb as a bag of hammers to not recognize one of these numbers is larger than the other. In point of fact, if one examines the numbers dispassionately it is obvious the USA was heading for another recession under Obama.

Also, when one adds in Obama had *EIGHT YEARS* to improve those numbers, it's damning in the extreme. The proof is in - Obama was an idiot at 'running' an economy. Not that you will accept the numbers, because Liberalism is a religion that demands faith in the face of actual proof.

The economy doesn't work at year-to-year speed. New programs don't just pop life into the economic situation, it take several years for them to have an effect. Obama benefited from smart moves made by the W. Bush administration at its end. Expanding GDP growth in the 4th quarter of last year was influenced by Obama administration open market and free trade policies and liberalization of labor and business regimes. Trump has had *ONE YEAR* and all he's done is weaken the country. Severely. The happy halcyon days you harken back to? Created by America's great push to expand liberal democracy and free markets, not by presidents who mistakenly think that 'power' is shown by playing the schoolyard bully on the world stage. The reason the Chinese communist party is smiling is not because Obama wrecked anything, but because they know they can influence Trump by flattering him, and that his supporters will gladly follow him and do what is best to help China gain power. Conservatism is a dying creed, dependent on order and conformity, and beholden to old repressive ideas of superiority of one group over another, birthed out of ancient notions of monarchy and divine right, and clung to by those who forsake their citizenly education for a cheap thrill in the lap of a tinpot billionaire.

Exactly where did I harken to anything?

I just wait for the quote over here while you finish anal-raping that strawman...
0 ups, 7y
How has he weakened the economy, last I saw my stocks they have gone up, and kept going up under Trump, yes they went up with Obama as well but not nearly as fast. It is interesting how you refuse to use Trump's name and instead try to discredit him by calling him all sorts of names. Last I heard, that's a tactic used by people when they are afraid to face facts that weaken their postion
