Used to be just calling a cop on duty and doing their job 100% as per law/rules an expectative or flipping them the bird was enough to get tossed in a jail cell.

I got detained in highschool while walking with my friend Brian - call it 1993 or 1994. Pulled a Wayne's World joke out & though the Chad Cop would appreciate it. "Hey Brian - you smell baaacooon" He didn't.

I explained I was just doing the Wayne's World joke & he thought about it & nodded his head a bit. Then was like "ok, yeah -- I saw the movie too, don't let me catch you doing it again, got it?"

We both said ok & gave him a rock tap & never had a problem with that cop again

It applies because you said it was their looks that made the cops want to rough them up. The video appeared to be a protestor interfering with official federal officer work.

You know how often I get comments from people that actually are replying to the person I'm replying to, and I have to use everything from a GPS to an Etch-o-Sketch to explain to them that they're arguing against me by agreeing with me?

This is why I have to post wall of text for what really half a sentence will do. I guess it's just me, because nobody understands what I'm saying, no matter how many details. Even with pictures and actual quotes. They still don't get it. Even if I tell them that they're arguing against me by agreeing with me, they still don't get that they're arguing against me by agreeing with me.
