The Giggle Pod is an ancient device with unknown origin that is estimated to be around 4.7 million years old, according to radiometric dating. Sometime during the years 2010-2015, a small amount of Giggle Pods were sighted in American shopping malls, only to disappear without a trace soon after. It contains a screen inside that plays episodes from the television show VeggieTales.
Description
The appearance of the Giggle Pod conveys a silly vibe with the outside depicting Larry, Bob, Junior, Laura, and some of the French Peas. The sides have openings which allow for participants to easily embark and disembark. There is a display above each door showing a preview of a VeggieTales episode. When inside, the viewer inserts a coin to watch a specified VeggieTales episode on the screen.
History
The creators of the Giggle Pods are unknown. The first Giggle Pod was first spotted circa 2010 in a shopping mall in America. At first, it was assumed that these objects were created in a partnership with Big Idea Entertainment to promote their television show, but they denied any involvement and asked for their removal. However, when workers prepared to remove it, it was nowhere to be found. This caused much confusion as to who moved it, but the incident was eventually forgotten. Several months later, multiple reports of Giggle Pods arose across the country, causing Big Idea and mall companies to investigate. The Giggle Pods always remained until the day they planned to remove it in which they seemingly vanished.
Upon inspection of the immediate vicinity of the missing Giggle Pods shortly after their disappearances, experts found an abnormally large amount of ambient radioactive energy. After a great amount of effort, someone who found a Giggle Pod in a mall contacted said experts and stood in place with the device in sight until they arrived. Scientists were able to contain this Giggle Pod in a secure facility in the Appalachian Mountains and keep it under constant surveillance lest it vanish like the others. The scientists found that when the box was not observed via camera or direct line of sight, it would begin to emit increasing amounts of radiation only to return to normal after being observed. This caused the scientists to theorize that the energy given off was a sign that it was preparing to teleport itself elsewhere. Because of this, there is always someone stationed to monitor the Giggle Pod in order to keep it in the facility. Upon thorough inspection and dismantling, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary with the device. By experts' understanding, it appears to simply be a video player that accepts coins to trigger playback. But by using radiometric dating, it was determined that the object must be at least 4.7 million years old, which baffled scientists considering humans did not exist to create such technology that long ago.
After the Giggle Pod was captured, no more were seen elsewhere. At the time of writing, only a few images and one video of a Giggle Pod have been known to exist. An approximated 28 Giggle Pods have been sighted in malls, but it is hypothesized they could have been the same Giggle Pod teleporting to different locations. The nature of the Giggle Pod remains a mystery to this day. | image tagged in foxy-198727 porsha announcement template | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
