A university in the 80's and 90's, and I ve no reason to believe it's not still happening, would have its medical facilities overwhelmed each Monday morning with students, mostly, seeking treatments for their newly acquired STDs and whatever other ailments their weekends had subjected themselves to. This made it more difficult to treat emergencies which arrive without notice. There are only so many healthcare workers in every town, city, and state or nation. By definition, "universal healthcare" isn't possible based on that limitation alone. Each person that requires medical attention is important, but government run anything is wasteful and inefficient. Even if President Trump gave everyone free health care tomorrow, the dmeonrats would scream about long waits, lack of medical staff and then demand buses pick them up at home and transport them.

Actually it is possible. . .step one is cutting all wasteful useless spending and fire almost 99.9% of the bureaucracy that we never needed.

In 2011 I got a hip replacement in Charleston WV. There were 3 Canadians and 2 brits there too to get hip and knee replacements. They all waited 5 years for the surgeries.
Finally they borrowed money to come here and have surgery.
2 cried when they found out I only had to wait 2 months foe my boss to get someone to fill in for me at work.
