Same reason people were penalized for not having Obama Care. If it was so great, why force every American to take part in it?

Not knowingly, but It’s possible I heard it as a religion by another source. It’s truth either way.

It’s not great, but people have to say its great 😐

Because they can't use the truth. . .some of their lies that used to be spread around was 'the Soviet Union was the only country to fight the nazis', or 'the Soviet Union beat the nazis' or 'the Soviet Union suffered the most out during the war'.

No Allied Force, no war against Japan or even Italy, no Polish/French/Wherever Underground. . .just the Soviet Union. . .

This meme is true of all variations of socialism, including democratic socialism and national socialism.

There's no difference at all. Those who worship at the alter of Karl Marx will point out all sorts of differences to try to make on variation sound better than the others. In the 20th century they would even kill each other over those insignificant variations. Given the chance and they'd do it in the 21st century also.

Sitting here on the right they all look identical. They're all "ideas so great they have to be forced on us".

Individual freedom, the ability to fully take care of your own needs without government interference or involvement is the best solution

"There's nothing wrong with capitalism
There's nothing wrong with free enterprise
Don't try to make me feel guilty
I'm so tired of hearing you cry

There's nothing wrong with making some profit
If you ask, I'll say it's just fine
There's nothing wrong with wanting to live nice
So tired of hearing you whine
About the revolution, bringing down the rich
When was the last time you dug a ditch, baby

If it ain't one thing, then it's the other
Any cause that crosses your path
Your heart bleeds for anyone's brother
I've got to tell you, you're a pain in the ass

You criticize with plenty of vigor
You rationalize everything that you do
With catchy phrases and heavy quotations
And everybody is crazy but you

You're just a middle class, socialist brat
From a suburban family and you never really had to work
And now you tell me that we've got to get back

To the struggling masses, whoever they are
You talk, talk, talk about suffering and pain
Your mouth is bigger than your entire brain
What the hell do you know about suffering and pain"

- Excerpt of the song, "Capitalism" by Oingo Boingo, written by Danny Elfman.

Contrary to that absolute dogwater rant, I do believe that people working together and having society is good. If you don't, leave society.

" the ability to fully take care of your own needs without government interference or involvement is the best solution"

Nobody is stopping you from doing this. Leave society and go do this. Why do you need for the whole government to enforce this? Some of us WANT to work together.

Also, that song is trash. I was raised in objective poverty. I now own two properties, have two small businesses on top of my day job, travel internationally, etc. I wasn't some brat that got it all passed on to me. I just also don't think everyone has the skills or knowledge to pull off what I have and I don't want them to hurt because they don't.

If you wanna keep to yourself, then stfu and do that.

It's a great song. Danny Elfman is a great songwriter and movie soundtrack composer. One of the best in our time. I've always wondered if he actually believes the lyrics he wrote, when he wrote that song. He doesn't seem to be a conservative but I don't know. Regardless, he nailed that song.

Did you grow up outside of the U.S.? Because if you're claiming "abject poverty" then you didn't grow up in the U.S. You also don't seem to know what causes abject poverty. You still think socialism is all fun and games and that you can live with the same level of freedom that you currently have.

If only you could have your cake and eat it.

Name a socialist nation that you think is doing great. Don't get all Bernie Sanders on me and point to Denmark or some other Scandinavian country because they're not socialist. They're more socialist than we are but they are not socialist. Even so, perhaps you should live in one of those nations and tell me how wonderful they are. And if that is the type of government you want, you can just stay there.

I would rather you be happy in some psuedo-socialist nation than to stay here and vote for our demise as a free nation.

And you may not have been a "socialist brat" but the takeaway from those two words is that "brat" is NOT the derogatory word, "socialist" is.

The fact that you claim to have worked so hard to build 2 businesses and travel internationally and you believe in socialism means that "you've got yours and nobody else can have theirs". You want to shut the door behind you so that no matter hard someone else works they'll never achieve your success.

Capitalism isn't based on greed, socialism is.

Yup. You're right. None of our comments matter. I don't know of anyone on ImgFlip who has read what someone else says a changed from liberal to conservative or vice versa.

More and more I am realizing that the right and the left are not the same kind of people.

The left wants a government that gives them everything except freedom. The right wants a government that just sticks to the Constitution and does do much of anything which gives the individual the most freedom.

Freedom requires personal responsibility and accountability and that's just too much for the left to handle. They want a government that takes responsibility and accountability for the lives of everyone.

They think all variations of socialism are benevolent except for national socialism and fascism.

The right thinks every variations of socialism is pure evil because in order for it to give you everything it promised it has to take everything you have, including your life.

Antifa is a joke. They are fighting one kind of socialism with the hopes of creating an even worse kind of socialism, aka communism. Modern Antifa most likely had no clue what they are doing but the original Antifa wanted to spread communism all over the world. They were the original "useful idiots".

The Scandinavian countries are not socialist countries. They have a market based economy. One of Sweden's presidents said that they tried going full socialist once and it just about destroyed their country. So they back out of that model and are more capitalist.

Argentina finally decided to stop hyper-inflating their economy every few years and elected a libertarian president who's turning the economy around and making Argentina great.

blah blah blah

Factually Jeff Epstein and Steve Bannon met with Obama aids and Trump aids (Ruemmler and Bannon). Spare me the left v right garbage. They are all sick and gross people and you propping up the fascist wing that Bannon spent years touring in europe to promote isn't any better bud. Wake up.

Your comments matter significantly less than most here.

You didn't read my comments.

You should study up on Giovanni Gentile and his political philosophy before you call people fascists. You have a whole lot more in common with fascists than you think. I have nothing in common with fascists. You might even be a fascist.

Your ideological predecessors from the early 20th century were proud to be call fascists. H.G. Wells called himself a "Liberal Fascist".
0 ups, 3w
I'm not a fascist because I don't actually find the PEOPLE themselves to be the problem. When I claim they are sick and gross people I am speaking to their ideology and behavior. Human value is above this. That's the difference between someone like Wells and I is that I value ALL human life but I do NOT value all human ideology. Human ideology that violates personal autonomy for any purpose other than defense of their own autonomy is inferior not because any one TYPE of person is. It's inferior because standalone it is intrinsically defeating to the concept of society itself.

I'm well informed of what fascism is and the similarities stop where the lines of value stop. I may find you and your ilk to have absolutely decrepit morals but at the end of the day if people who think as you do, MAGA, or any of the groups are hungry - I feed them. I will feed them no matter what. They are welcome to be warm in my home because humans deserve that. In my home, we obey my rules. If they are in need and come into my home, we treat women equally here. We don't dog on them for biological processes they cannot control like their periods. We recognize the value of the human themself in my home and all who oppose my ideals are welcome...but in my home, we operate that value.

When I speak to the larger picture, I'm informing you that the largest majority of the human race has agreed with the sentiments that I espouse to you in this comment. I understand that this might present a very sincere fallacy trigger in your mind but I assure you that I am not making the statement out of a need to validate the argument. I've already done that with the rest of this comment. It stands as evidence and a testament to the fact that there is power in that element independent of that and that those of us holding thoughts that they can validate in written form like this can see directly through those of you who cannot.

I worked with a man who lived in the Democratic Socialist paradise of East Germany and immigrated to America after the Berlin Wall fell down. It is Democratic only in the fact that they have elections. But it is all for show because if you don't vote the way the government wants you to vote then you disappear.

West Germany was not socialist. Neither are the Scandinavian countries. They are all market based economies where capitalism is alive and well. If you actually looked into those countries rather than listening to Bernie Sanders then you would know.

That would have spared you from making a meme that fails on all accounts.
3 ups, 3w
