Exactly. I may not have agreed with all of Charlie's stances, but I understood where he came from (which was NOT a place of malice), and I respected his right to share his ideas. But because the left couldn't beat his arguments, they labeled him (and any conservative) as bigoted racists to the point any such label has lost its actual meaning. And when that wasn't enough to silence him, they did it for him, like they tried with Trump. Twice, in case you didn't know about the second attempt.
