"When Obama did his deportations, he was branded "Deporter in Chief".... "
--Being called Deporter-in-Chief is akin to being called Hitler? Nazi? Fascist? Good to know.
"Also what has been happening is unlike any of the previous administrations so lets not pretend they're the same."
--You're right, they aren't the same. Take away the faux outrage from the media, the sheep-like paid riots, the assaults on ICE agents brought on by the Democrat leaders who are openly calling for ICE agents to be assaulted, this is nothing like the past administrations.
" Nor did they actually break court orders to enforce their policy..."
--You mean the court orders handed out by rogue activist Judges who think that their tiny districts they preside over, extends into the federal level? The activist Judges who continuously get overruled by the Federal and Supreme Court? Those Judges?
"Nor did they spend millions of dollars sending hundreds of immigrants who weren't convicted of anything to a foreign prison.. "
--It doesn't matter what they were convicted of or not convicted of in their home country. When they entered this country, they did it illegally. They invaded this country and many of them committed violent crimes here. So what they did in their own country, doesn't matter.
"Nor did they send in the military (let alone at a time when the numbers were actually already going way down)... etc."
--They didn't send in the military because they weren't facing the threat that this administration is/was facing. The amount of illegals in that were let into this country from all over the world was anywhere between 10 million and 30 million in just four years. That isn't "asylum seekers," that's a full-on invasion, which the past administration allowed to happen. And Donald Trump has every right to use the military. That's one of the jobs of the military; protecting the border.
