Basically anything that compromises the immune system to the point that you get sick from common things that most people are immune thus auto immune deficiency syndrome.

People who have an immunodeficiency can die from vaccines, but the vaccines do not cause said immunodeficiency.

Provide evidence for what? That which he admittedly did in funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan, particularly to make viruses more virulent? In Wuhan of all places where the virus just “happened” to originate, and where the lab leak theory has been admitted to be “plausible” which is code for “Yes, it happened”? Ask yourself why he thought he needed a pardon. As my dad would say, “Use your head for something besides a hat-rack.”

Fauci accepted a pardon. Which requires admitting guilt over whatever that pardon covers. Which also means the 5th Amendment no longer applies.

Why haven't any Republicans gotten him in a hearing to question him? He can't take the 5th. If he lies, they can hold him in contempt and send him to jail.

That's a great question. Because Dr Fauci accepted a pardon- which requires you to admit guilt over whatever the pardon covers. Which means that the 5th Amendment no longer applies- you've admitted guilt so you can't self-incriminate. So, if he were summoned to a Congressional hearing he'd have to tell the truth about what happened. Or be held in contempt and risk going to jail.

So, you have to ask yourself; why haven't the Republicans done that? Why haven't they held even one hearing to get him on the record about the pandemic?

5th amendment means you can’t be made to testify against yourself or be made to prove you didn’t commit the crime you’re accused of. It can be used by the innocent as well as the guilty. It’s meant to ensure that the case against the accused is rock solid. But as Washington said “They who have not offended want no pardon.”

The 5th gives you the right to not incriminate yourself. The constitution also prevents double jeopardy. So, if you've already been convicted of a crime, you can't be convicted of it again.

Accepting a pardon means you need to admit guilt for the thing the pardon covers. Because you have been pardoned, you cannot be held in jail for that crime. Nor can you be tried for it again, because of the double jeopardy protections.

You've admitted guilt, so you can't self-incriminate. You've been forgiven; so you can't go back to jail due to the double jeopardy protections.

So, if someone who has accepted a pardon gets called to testify under oath, they cannot claim the 5th amendment. If they get called in, they have to testify.

The Republicans said they were going to expose Fauci and have all sorts of hearings on the vaccine.

They haven't done that. Why? They know Fauci can't claim the 5th amendment. Fauci knows. So why haven't they called him up to congress and put him under oath?
