A person very close to me was upset by what Trump said about Liz Cheney. So I simply said that she needs to never believe a written article that says Trump said anything (good or bad) and to immediately go to the source video for something like that.

So we did, and she was a bit confused at first, because she, like you, just believes this crap without any independent verification.
