And they call us "anti-science"?????
It's part of the cult. Science, logic, reason and just plain ol' common sense does not matter. It's all about the mythology.
The rest of the world has backed down from giving puberty blockers and gender reassignment surgery. Just the US and Canada are still trying to make this treatment easily available to children with or without parental consent or knowledge.
Most of those kids are going to be totally messed up for life and many will end up committing suicide. The reason is obvious to anyone who has a brain and actually uses it. The vast majority of kids in the US and Canada simply are not gender dysphoric. They know what gender they are and after they have been harassed by peer pressure, liberal parents, teachers and doctors into these treatments they are now stuck in a gender that is not how they really feel. And they are stuck having to take medicine to remain the gender they know they are not for the rest of their lives.
Girls who undergo puberty blockers and surgery grow up to realize they can never have a relationship with a man, they can never have children. And their lives are completely messed up.
Kids and even many young adults who undergo these treatments just do not fully understand what they are doing to themselves. They aren't thinking about the long term. Will they think they are another gender a year, two years, a decade from now. For the majority the answer is they are the gender they were born as and nothing else.
There is actual gender dysphoria and those people who suffer with this will suffer for the rest of their lives with it, but they are in an extreme minority. Those people are a fraction of a percentage of the country. They need psychological help and sometimes they need help that doesn't automatically recommend life altering treatment.
Children who can't vote, can't drive, can buy alcohol, can't buy cigarettes and can't do a lot of things are just not equipped mentally, intellectually and emotionally to make these decisions. They do not have the ability to fully comprehend just the life long commitment they are being allowed to make.
