Exactly. Bernie Sanders once did that by freeloading off of friends and living on welfare. Then he got into the government and got rich. Now capitalism is wonderful for him but not for you and me.

That's not Capitalism, that's barter.

We have a free exchange of goods, only one side of that exchange is a common medium ($). But the point of capitalism is it is a free exchange rather than centralized control of what you can buy and how much, and for what prices.

You don't understand Capitalism. In a free market what is exchanged is one value for another. The value doesn't have to be money. It is in the exchange that wealth is created.

If you destroy the free market then all wealth is destroyed, including, eventually, the wealth of those who are working to destroy the free market.

The problem is those who do not understand the free market are just far too stupid to know they are shooting themselves in the head by trying to destroy the free market.

In all markets things are exchanged. It's called trade.
