Another important point to make is that with freedom of speech, you know modda, 1A freedom, which includes those little light hating bugs being able to say what they want, they would say what they truly believe, and 99.9% of the population would ignore them because they're spewing hatred and bullshit that nobody wants to listen to. But once the media, in their attempt to prop them up as a threat, starts talking about suppressing their right to free speech, and boom, like anything else that's prohibited or banned, people are interested just because it's prohibited or banned.

Basically you look for passages to support your theories or refute others. Leviticus is the Old Testament and has many “laws” Christian’s are not required to follow. It says you can’t eat pork too, but Christian’s do that. Your knowledge of Christianity is limited. The commandments are universal but the New Testament is the guiding Christian Bible not the Torah or old Testament.

Who do you think was punishing rulers, kingdoms, and even Israel in the Old Testament era? The same God who became flesh and blood. Even the Book of Revelation reveals what will happen to the world's governments because of how they act.

Not surprising that atheism didnt have much history before the 20th century. It didn’t develop as an avowed belief system until the 1800’s. From there it took time to develop into a political tool to wield the power of death over its subjects as it has on the modern era.

No atheism couldn’t have taken over thousands of years ago because it was a minuscule percentage of the population. That there were non believers or more correctly non practicers or agnostics is certain. They had no power or influence.

Atheism is most certainly a belief system and is simply a religion of non belief based on unproven scientific theory to answer the questions of life the religious look to their beliefs for.
