(Shrug) People with common sense, a grasp of history, and fundamental knowledge of the military -- conservatives, in other words -- pointed out from the get-go that since Russia was a military superpower and that Ukraine was NOT; the Russians would win . . . if they wanted it badly enough. The thing Russia is doing is horrible, but the thing is, if we want to stop them, we don't send money, we send men. Soldiers. There will be far fewer casualties if we just manage it ourselves instead of giving the resources away to be wasted.
