Change My Mind Meme | There are only two classes under socialism:

The ultra wealthy (not you)
Everybody else | image tagged in memes, change my mind | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
And you cannot improve yourself.

Socialism and communism seem fantastic ideologically but they are tyrannical in practice. Also murders the spirit of the individual. Think you're depressed now?

I think if you desire this form of society/government it is advisable to speak to survivors of socialist and communist rule.

Maybe ask a north Korean. My bad, you can't. The internet is censored AF. If you did manage to slip a message in the recipient would soon get the dreaded knock on the door.

Is that what you want just to get an equal share as everyone else whether or not you earned it and deserve it ?

Capitalism is not an ideology, it is an underlying natural order that no ideology could change, nor is it necessary to change.

This is how it is right now. This hasn't anything to do with socialism. Also, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SOCIALISM IS and it shows.

Guys. We currently reside in a Democratic Socialist country. The roads you drove on, your garbage collection. All Socialism. You've been programmed to hate socialism since your republican leaders attached it to the belief that Black people wanted what you had, even if what you had was a garbage bag and no pot. Hate socialism, but understand what that entails.

They don't have televisions. If they did have televisions they would understand the level of hate and racism they would have to endure. Though, considering the death they face daily, racism and hatred may seem tame.

And you say you ain't racist

How did they learn of America and decide it was a better place but be ignorant of the terrible circumstances that await them being all third world, no modern convenience having, uneducated people?

I have also heard politicians and media personalities say that they didn't have cellphones but every border picture ever taking there are a lot of phones seen in hands.

They are coming for the freedom of opportunity, the jobs, the ability to earn, the money, the very things that so many of the lazy "poor me, I'm a genderless entity, morally superior, woke" generation in this country spit on.

They have television and internet and phones. They are not 1600's naked natives.

I agree. That's a horrible statistic, thanks in no small part to the government red tape and high taxes.

Define "poor"

And?

Define "executed," and how this has to do with the economic system of socialism (unless you are making a libertarian argument...?)

That's not a bad thing, and is actually untrue.

And of course, this is all assuming your statistics are accurate. Which on the off chance they are not... well...
2 ups, 1y
I'm just wondering if theyvare so bad off why haven't they died off. Most "poor" in the US live like lower middle class in 3rd world countries.

Define fascist for me

Fascism. A variation of socialism created in Italy in the 1920's. It differs in that business owners are allowed to continue to being the head of the business but the decisions are still made by the collective (i.e the government). AND THAT IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE. But socialists are such perfectionists that just this much of a difference is what got Mussolini killed by the Italian socialists.

But then socialists have always been known to kill other socialists. They don't know how to play well with others or themselves.

Hitler killed all of the German socialists who were not part of his National Socialist German Workers Party, or NASDAP or NAZI.

Thank you for sharing your insight. I was attempting to get a certain individual's definition because I don't believe that person knows what a fascist is and thinks it just means someone you don't like.

Socialism looks good on paper but in practice becomes despotic. Same for communism. The leaders always oppress the masses while becoming a glutton of vice, wealth, power and all the other sins of capitalism.

Every political system has this component to varying degrees. The people being unimpeded in their striving to improve their holdings and the illusion of freedom makes all the difference.

My opinion.

There are a million definitions of fascism these days and most of them mean, "I don't like what you're saying so shut up". I look at what Mussolini did, seeing as he is the one who first implemented. The concept came about by an associate of Mussolini in Italy.

Name three thriving socialist countries in existence today (provide the number of years they have existed as socialist countries as well).

Or as many as you can.

Cuba would be doing just fine if the US stopped imposing massive sanctions on them.
0 ups, 12mo,
1 reply
Why do you think that?
0 ups, 12mo,
1 reply
I’ll answer that for you.

It’s because despite these sanctions, Cuba has a near-zero homelessness rate, has such a good healthcare system that even the WHO praised it, is a bastion of progressivism, and made many scientific breakthroughs (such as inventing CIMAvax-EGF). Now imagine how Cuba would be like if harsh embargoes from the world’s largest superpower weren’t the case.

What do the embargoes keep Cuba from getting ?
1 up, 12mo,

President Kennedy called for a complete economic embargo, prohibiting all trade of goods and services between the U.S. and Cuba. Some of these laws were relaxed overtime, but this is mainly still in place.

0 ups, 12mo
I don't accept that because there are many more countries in the world they can trade with.

It is akin to saying if I'm banned from Walmart I can't buy soap, socks, or groceries. I would just go to target, dollar general, etc

2 questions:

How do you suppose they have high level health care and medical research facilities without being able to get necessary supplies and equipment?

Have you ever been to Cuba?
0 ups, 12mo,
1 reply
Perhaps. However, that does not answer the question.
1 up, 12mo
Why won’t you just accept that Cuban embargoes have been detrimental to the country, whether it includes other countries or not?

You won't get an answer for questions like this. For some reason, despite all the cocksure, enlightened soapboxing, they won't give a simple definitive yes/no answer.

Everytime I've asked a socialist leaning or left leaning person for their definition of anything I'm referred to a dictionary. We know the book definition but we want the individuals understanding of the term, right?

If any reply at all, you will get some rant about what YOU are thinking and some additional diversionary blah blah blah.

Maybe someone will prove me wrong someday.

Good luck
