Yes, a large reason this is the case is the merging of Freudianism with American Marxism that took over schools in the 30s. This happened because Marxists eventually realized that victimizing people causes hate, and as Hitler once said, "Hatred is a splendid unifier". This is why the left coddled blacks in the 60s, reversing the effects of blacks beginning to make names and careers for themselves and encouraging them to be lazy so that they could blame slavery on them not having opportunities. All that's happened since is that the left has just invented more communities to victimize so more people can be involved. This is why supporting homosexuality suddenly became a political movement in the early 10s. And as the 20s came, more and more groups that can call themselves victimized were created until its now just "be whatever you want". If you want to be trans-racial, be transracial. But it's important to remember that these same "pioneers" of these American left-wing movements were hostile to these very ideas once upon a time. And the countries already taken over by leftists have stayed hostile to these communities. The American left cannot say this, however, bc all hate MUST be pinned on the right.
Some Marxists may have believed in God but others like Stalin, Lenin, Fidel, etc. hated God. Stalin died raising his fist to the heavens. Lenin grew up in a Christian home and despised God after graduating the hellhole called the University of Paris, as did many communist leaders who went home and took their countries over. One leader grew up Muslim and ditched it and took his home over. Marxism is based on 'there is no God', and Paris University killed all their faiths. It's hard to believe in God and be Marxist, you basically believe in another god.
