Teachers need to start saying "That's a good question and you should ask your parents about that"

Teachers are free to teach children good values. If one kid steals something from another kid, it's perfectly acceptable for the teacher to tell them that stealing is not okay. That falls outside the curriculum, but it's fine if the teacher says that.

Because sounds like I should embrace them to get past my "Us vs Them" thinking. Again, I tried and I found the accusations against them to be true. If you are an American it is an Us VS Them scenario. They want to take away freedoms and change America for the worse. I am not like them. I am for freedom not oppression.

Figured who it was, someone I had clashed with, but then a wannabe troll who was conected to that former sycophant with a vendetta claimed it was one of his alts who was actually the culprit, not someone whose animosity I had played a BIG part in generating because, yes I can be quite a bitch too. Sometimes we DO help cause the hell we get ourselves stuck in.

Last summer when I returned to this account, I got deletions there one day with "Additional notes" rather much like yours, down to the "Right Wing" stuff.

I've gotten into a heated exchange or two there a cpl of months ago.

Other than these, my postings there generally have met with positive/civil reactions. Mind you, I've gotten deletions on Conservatives and RealPolitics (which banned me after 1 or 2 comments that weren't even bad!).

While the "Additional notes..." statement at first glance seems perhaps a tad biased, the puerile and ornery opening of your deleted comment is in keeping with your other posts going back even months. If you can't recognize the source of your problems is safely esconced in the mirror and the pattern it readily presents, then perhaps consulting someone more well versed in assisting someone like you on that path is recommended at this juncture.

In regard to that meme, I said that is why the horrors of communism needs to be taught, people knows about the Holocaust but few knows about the Holodomor, killing fields, and gulags. Or that Stalin killed more of his own people than Hitler.
If the subject is about slavery then teach it properly. Not every white southerner owned slaves, only the big rich ones could afford them. Being white wasn't a breeze. There was white slaves / indentured servants. Being poor and working in the mines is not fun. Other countries had slaves too plus eunuchs like China and the Middle East. Slavery still exists today in certain places.
And there was African slave traders too, a few limp dick white slave trading boys did not enslave the whole continent of Africa by themselves.
Likewise a few sea sick Conquistadors did not defeat the Aztecs by themselves, nor was it with disease either, it was mostly by allying with other native factions.

History when taught properly will reveal the undeniable importance of the First and Second Amendment. A few armed Jews held off the Nazis at Warsaw for a few months, likewise Ukraine is still putting up a fight against Russia because the people are fighting, not just soldiers.
