Republicans - "We want Putin gone because he's a direct threat to people's freedom!"
Democrats 'We want Putin gone because MSM said so!"

I remember the Reagan years when the Democrats were kissing up to the Soviet Union. They were constantly lecturing us that the people of the Soviet Union were people just like us.

And we were like, duh! We want to free those people not kiss up to their dictators.

Because this is technically incorrect, now I'm not sure what false flag is supposed to mean...
1 up, 2y
Oh, how quickly they forget.

This meme makes no sense. I'm pretty sure neither Republicans nor Democrats care much for Putin.

Okay, well, I'll just pretend Yeltsin's economic shock therapy never happened and that the IMF and World Bank didn't liberalize the former Soviet economies.

Ok, well, I'll just pretend this assessment from the CIA never happened :

"Economic reforms in the 1990s privatized most industry, with notable exceptions in the energy, transportation, banking, and defense-related sectors. The protection of property rights is still weak, and the state continues to interfere in the free operation of the private sector."

In other words - communism.

The USSR wasn’t even communist before its dissolution. They had state capitalism transitioning toward capitalism. Privatization is not the same as nationalizing industries, it’s literally the opposite. The USSR operated on the law of (central) planning, rather than the law of value (capitalism). This is not Russia today.

The state interferes with private business in the USA, but you wouldn’t call us communist.

You clearly don’t understand that the USSR was a project supposed to establish communism, but never did. Most workers still did not own the means of production. The state never withered away. Lenin said state capitalism was a step toward progress and communism.

Yeah... what the hell does the CIA know anyway?
2 ups, 2y
I didn’t refute anything the CIA said. You came to the conclusion that Russia is communist, not them.

They are closer to Fascist where the government controls the means of production, but individuals own it (until the government decides differently).

less 'still' more 'Again!' ... Putin is ex KGB, the country moved on, he remained the same and has pulled the country back...
[deleted]

"pulled the country back" do you know who Mikhail Gorbachev was? the country never even was communist, during putin's time as a kgb it was stalinist. Criticize communism, go ahead, it is after all a faulty system with a lot of bad history, but don't start associating it with things it didn't have anything to do with.

Both the left and the right are against putin, the difference is the debate over how big putin's impact on the US is compared to biden's impact.

No one loves Putin, except you tards that can't get him out of your brain. Leftists love Russia for the totalitarian communist state that killed millions of its own people to keep control? That makes sense. If ya hate Putin so much, why has every policy decision by Biden served to enrich him and fund the invasion for Ukraine? Why does Biden let Putin negotiate with Iran on our behalf? Why are we sending billions, once again to our enemies when we know they used it last time to wage war in the middle east and kill our own soldiers? Why did we cut our production just so the price of Russian oil and all the other enemies to America could make bank, while we sit here and pay through the nose for basic heating and energy? Who loves Putin? You love Putin, with every policy you back that hurts America.

Do you know, there are people supporting Putin in the invasion of Ukraine. It is difficult to explain how this situation is reached. But it has to do with the foreign policy of the United States, of a certain power group that is there.

This old man, Biden, is from Delaware, which in addition to being a state, is a tax haven. It has more companies than people.

He is not a US representative completely, he is a citizen of the world, or rather someone who represents a non-local power group, who thinks that the world belongs to them.

Obviously biden is useless, he has done nothing. But think about it, how would have trump reacted to this? We probably would have already started WW3.

It is very long to explain, but it would not have happened.

This started with Hillary Clinton and Victoria Nuland putting their hands in Ukraine. Trump was against that type of inteligence war, like was against Iraq war.
