And ballot boxes should be guarded by a couple of National Guard people. If well dressed and armed soldiers just standing there doesn't stop a lot of the cheating then nothing will.

If nothing else, how about changing it to a Saturday so that at the very least we can maximize the number of people who will even be available to vote in person?

What are you bitching about? Clearly, voting on a Tuesday is a clear advantage to Democrats. Most Conservatives vote Republican & most Republicans have jobs and have to work all day, while most Democrats don’t work and have all day to vote.

Don’t need to. Besides, most states now have early voting and mail-in. Only a lazy person can’t get their vote in, and we don’t need lazy ignorant people voting anyhow.

What do you mean you don't need to? I thought you wanted a nice clean election with one day when everyone has access to the polls. There's no way you could possibly justify keeping that to a Tuesday.

agreed. it should be a federal holiday- everyone needs access to vote, the more the better- from both, or all parties. Hard to believe how lazy people are and dont vote

People are required to adhere to schedules all of the time.

So, in other words, you are saying that only Republicans are smart enough to be able to show up on a scheduled date and place to do something and that Democrats are too stupid and incompetent to figure out simple instructions like voting day? 

By this logic, most Democrats miss watching the Superbowl every year because it's only played on one day of the year and how can they possibly be expected to figure out anything in only one day???🙄 Do Democrats miss out on Holidays and birthday celebrations and concerts and jobs or job interviews because it's too difficult for them to show up anywhere at a specific time and place? Or do Democrats magically only have this problem when it comes to voting?

Actually YOU'RE the one saying all that.

FUN FACT: Texas's new more restrictive voting requirements has tossed a heck ton of people off the rolls, especially older people who have to remember the registration number of their FIRST car. This means that a lot of Republicans got nixed because older folks tend to lean Republican in that state.

Older folks also don't always have the easiest time driving also or standing in line for hours, so there's that.

Someone I know in PA who voted Trump in 2016 but didn't vote at all since got a letter that her voter registration is getting revoked for not having voted in 5 years.

Republicans strategists themselves have admitted they go after early voting because it turns out more favorable results for Democrats. The GOP are cheats, period. 

Your logic is absurd. You can’t compare something that is a legally protected right to a recreational or competitive event like the Super Bowl, or celebrations (which, by the way, many people celebrate on days around a certain holiday too, and not on the actual day). 

Alternative forms of voting, including mail-in ballots have been used in this country for a long, long time. You’re literally only complaining about it because you believe conspiracies that Biden stole the election. Are overseas military too f**king stupid to come here and vote on Election Day? I mean come on!

You missed the entire point of my post. The point being that Democrats can show up for any other scheduled event (regardless of the day it is scheduled) except magically when it comes to voting.

Also, I figured that people were smart enough to understand that I was referring to the vast majority of civilian Americans, not the military or the small minority of Americans who have legitimate reasons for being unable to vote in person, that it didn't need to be said. Apparently, I was mistaken.

I live in Cook County, Illinois, so you cannot convince me that Democrats do not engage in voter fraud. I see it every election. Votes are always "found" late at night or within the following week and magically, always go 100% for the Democrats.
