A new study from Johns Hopkins University’s Institute for Applied Economics supports what I and others have long maintained: Lockdowns do not work, and their economic, social, educational and psychological costs far outweigh any health benefits they might bring.

No, you're right, this study should not be suppressed. However, at the same time, if we're being fair, then this really is only "one" study, correct? Should we not look at ALL studies and data available?



The climate change libtards use "some" science that paints their narrative and ignore others, correct? We should not follow them. Yes, this John Hopkins study should be read and take into consideration. But you also need to take into other consideration such as what is happening around the world with countries that didn't lock down such as India, Brazil, etc... who got ravaged badly.



Don't become the very enemy you swore to oppose. It is not about left or right, it is about truth vs group think.

Abstract

This systematic review and meta-analysis are designed to determine whether there is empirical

evidence to support the belief that “lockdowns” reduce COVID-19 mortality. Lockdowns are

defined as the imposition of at least one compulsory, non-pharmaceutical intervention (NPI).

NPIs are any government mandate that directly restrict peoples’ possibilities, such as policies that

limit internal movement, close schools and businesses, and ban international travel. This study

employed a systematic search and screening procedure in which 18,590 studies are identified

that could potentially address the belief posed. After three levels of screening, 34 studies

ultimately qualified. Of those 34 eligible studies, 24 qualified for inclusion in the meta-analysis.

India is a very unhealthy country as is Brazil. Most of their people are malnourished and starving.

When you look at first world countries you find that lockdowns didn't help and those that didn't lock down faired better all around.

the point is; if you're watching real news, you know about a study completed by a major university.  If you watch fake news you don't.  It really has nothing to do with Covid deaths

Yep, if you made a cursory glance at the chart, you would have CLEARLY noticed it came from a rag, and not a reputable source.



The problem isn't me, the problem is your chart doesn't say John Hopkins.

It CLEARLY says New York slimes.
