Fake news. They don't count you as vaxxed until 14 days after the final shot. That's after the majority of side effects for vaccines happen.

And you don't have consent for killing a human life by said human life.

Oh, now consent doesn't matter. The lengths you ghouls go to to justify killing the most innocent is unbelievable.

The mother gave consent when she had sex. You really don't think much about responsibility, do you? You know, in the past abortionists would always include rare as a condition but you now are all shouting your abortion and cheering it on like it's some accomplishment. It's sick. Remember, YOU were a fetus once.

Not only is the Fetus incapable of giving consent, But it is physically dependent on the mother to survive. The mother has ultimate jurisdiction over her bodily autonomy.

The Fetus is using the mother's body to keep itself alive.
2 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Yeah, that's the way it works. Which is what the woman should have thought about before she spread her legs. And like Fightinguntruth said, the fetus isn't her body.
0 ups, 3y
What about rape victims, what about people who's protection broke, what about brake through cases on birth control. I KNOW THE FETUS ISN'T HER BODY BUT THE FETUS IS USING HER BODY TO STAY ALIVE WITHOUT HER CONSENT. This is never legal in any other situation.
2 ups, 3y,

Where'd I mention rape victims? Which is only about 2% of all abortions, if that.

I hope your mom denies consent for you living in her basement and feeding you tendies daily. I bet you wouldn't like that. Then you'd cry about your human rights being violated.
0 ups, 3y
You said the woman should have thought about spreading her legs but rape victims did not. 80% of rapes go unreported it's misleading to say that they only make up 2% of cases.

In your theoretical scenario a legal guardian has a right to give up ownership of me.

So what? Old incapacitated people use breathing machines to keep alive. Doesn't mean you can unplug it on a whim.
0 ups, 3y
A breathing machine isn't something that needs consent.

The father has no right to force the mother to give birth.

I hope one day you'll grow up and stop trying to take away women's rights.

What rights? I cannot find anywhere in your Constitution where abortion is mentioned as a "right".

In fact I cannot find the word "abortion".

So no, abortion isn't a right. It is a medical procedure, and the cost is being passed on to taxpayers who believe abortion is infanticide.

The 14th amendment was never intended to guarantee abortion, the supreme court to the contrary.

Yes, I know the Supreme Court is capable of finding stuff in the Constitution that isn't there. I'm not sure whether the supreme court was delusional, or if it was deliberate perjury.

I heartily invite the supreme judges to travel back in time and inform the constitutional framers and the authors of the 14th amendment of their intent to guarantee women the right to abortion on demand at taxpayers' expense. It would be interesting to see if the framers would stop to tar and feather them before hanging them from the nearest apple tree.

If you think people have a right to force other people to give birth your an authoritarian.

Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy because you cannot consent to outcomes and consent can be revoked at any time.

And nobody is legally obligated to be forced to give organs or have their bodies be used to keep other people alive and there are court cases proving it.
1 up, 3y,

The "authoritarian" here is the one who wants to force taxpayers to pay for something they consider a crime.

If you want to avoid getting pregnant, you can either avoid having sex, or you can use contraceptives. They are widely available.
0 ups, 3y
Well buddy I'm sorry but we don't always get our way with tax dollars. Abortion is Healthcare and should be treated as such. Consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy. Contraceptives aren't 100% effective and protection breaks. Republicans also voted against giving out free protection and contraceptives things that are proven to lower abortion rates.

The child is no longer using the mother's organs. It would now fit the legal definition of murder unlike abortion. Also the mother can put the child up for adoption technically.

We're not buddies.

And abortion isn't healthcare unless the mother's life or health is threatened.

Funny you assume one person can't afford a contraceptive but another one can afford to give the first one an abortion.
0 ups, 3y
The fetus is actively diverting blood and nutrients from the mother. It us quite literally a parasite. It makes the mother's skin dry, it makes her dehydrated, it is actively harming her health. Your also forgetting that pregnancy can result in death given the correct circumstances.

Countries that ban abortion have higher abortion rates. But places that give out free contraceptives and such have lower abortion rates. I was just pointing out that Republicans elected to do something ineffective on purpose rather than implement something that would actually save fetuses. Something that seems pretty important to them.

If you can't tell the difference between a fetus and a parasite, you shouldn't try to lecture people on medical matters.
1 up, 3y
Correction it is not a parasite because it is the same organism as the mother but that's where differences stop.

The baby, the baby, the baby!!!!
If we can force a medical procedure to, maybe, save a life of someone down the line, certainly we can deny an elective medical procedure to definitely save the life of a child.
Or, likewise, individual medical autonomy trumps the and health of those who may be directly (the unborn child) or indirectly (the theoretical persons with pre existing conditions who may catch the disease from someone who caught the disease from someone who caught the disease from you) affected by your medical choice.

To some extent. I would not support a total federal mandate because I value bodily autonomy but I support private businesses in making that decision.

Its an uninformed decision. They don't have all the info.
