Christian Extremist - A believer choosing to be brutally mauled or straight up martyred instead of renouncing Jesus Christ.

Here are the sources:
Student suspended for bringing a Bible to school
https://www.christianpost.com/news/christian-student-suspended-for-sharing-faith-sues-school-district.html

The State of California is being sued for requiring students to pray to Aztec gods
https://www.wnd.com/2021/09/state-sued-forcing-students-pray-aztec-gods-human-sacrifice/?utm_source=Email&utm_medium=wnd-breaking&utm_campaign=breaking&utm_content=breaking&ats_es=5b7280b80e1fb121ded1cf92795f1e2b

The odd thing is that when I was in High School in Southern California I had a friend that brought his Bible to school every day. He wasn't all preachy with it. He would just read it sometimes during lunch. He never mentioned it to anyone. He just kept it all to himself. This was in the 1970's when we had more freedom than we do today.

Here's a better source (it has facts). https://law.stanford.edu/press/student-booted-in-bible-flap-suing-school-district/

(more facts) https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-student-suspended-bible-seized-was-christian-disru-2011mar31-story.html

Turns out that in 2010, Kenneth Dominguez was suspended for being disruptive because he wouldn't leave the other students alone. He was not suspended for carrying a bible to school.

So, if Kenneth Dominguez had done exactly what your friend had done, he would have been fine. He was preachy about it. And he didn't leave people alone.

And if you're like "well, how disruptive could he be?!?" The school is small. Gateway East, in downtown El Cajon, has 34 students, two teachers and two classrooms.

He wasn't in some big highschool. He was in a small school, and he wouldn't leave the other students alone about his faith.

Yeah, I can see why he got suspended.

So you post nothing more than a "he said-she said" article...

I found the article that I was looking for. (https://www.theblaze.com/news/2011/03/31/boy-suspended-for-bringing-bible-to-school-files-suit#toggle-gdpr) The one I posted was not where I first heard about this story. It appears this is the same incident but it is being reported from two different viewpoints.

I see no way to verify which viewpoint is correct but I do know this. The mainstream media (which includes the San Diego Union-Tribune) will always skew left and anti-Christian. Schools will always do the same. The left controls both and has for decades.

So given that I am more inclined to believe the article posted in The Blaze. In The Blaze article the boy was NOT causing any disruption, he was having a normal conversation. Is it like the left to see something they don't like and blow it completely out of proportion? OH YEAH!!!!!! They do it all of the time. Leftist school administrators are worse than journalists. The don't like conservatives as so they call us Nazis and fascists. That isn't blown out of proportion that is just flat out wrong. You just cannot stand for individual liberty and the Constitution and be a Nazi or a fascist. We are the exact opposite of those two socialist regimes.

So I am leaning with "He didn't give any sermons or yell or scream… just sharing his faith with other students. That was it" (from The Blaze) and “We have no record of any students saying he was insulting, degrading or mean” (from the SDUT) over “an incredible amount of disruptive behavior” (from the Stanford University).

How can that be legal?

Looking at it again I think I could constructed it better. I think this makes more sense based on events that have happened in California.

I guess this could be called a joke. I was just thinking of it more as showing the hypocrisy of the left.

I am not necessarily for bringing Christian prayers back into schools but I see no problem with Christian groups using school property for activities. Nor do I have a problem for a Christian bringing a Bible to school.

There are areas in this country (like the South) where all students are Christian. If that school wanted to have a Christian prayer then no one should stop them.

It is most definitely NOT a violation of the 1st Amendment. Those who think it is should read the 1st Amendment again, then read what the founding fathers said and did about it. The definition of a state religion is pretty clear. It does not include some kid bringing a Bible on campus. Nothing that Christians and Jews are wanting these days constitutions a state religion.

If our founders, who were all devout Christians, wanted a state religion or even a theocracy they would have done so. They studied the Bible and based our liberty on what is taught in the Bible. Freedom of choice is paramount in the Bible because God is not a dictator.

What I do have a problem with is when the school forces students to participate in activities they are opposed to, like praying to Aztec gods, praying to Allah, or even praying to God. No one should be coerced think or believe a different way. I am opposed to teachers openly trying to indoctrinate students with Marxism.

The only government system that should be required is ours because this is where we live and this is the government we have trying to rule over us. And the more students understand that the Constitution PREVENTS the government from ruling over us the sooner we start getting our freedoms back.

Not really a good thing, but forcing anyone to do something religious isn't good. If classmates and faculty want to pray they should be allowed to together. If someone else has a problem with privately praying then too bad.
