Dude making fun of people that have died isn’t cool (unless they were a terrible terrorist like hitler) I don’t like Floyd but what your doing is morally wrong

I didn't beat anyone up or abuse drugs or hold a pregnant woman at knife-point while robbing her. The only wrong I see here is what he did, according to the law. You're comparing legal wrongs to opinionated wrongs.

What does it matter of she was pregnant or not? Okay, so she wasn't pregnant. It doesn't change anything about Floyd being a bad person. No, he didn't deserve to die. But he did what he did and the results of his bad actions resulted in his death. He wasn't trying to change his life as everyone claims, either.

But he was turned into a messiah-like figure by you people for no good reason. Floyd was killed by a rogue cop who knew him, not because of racism. That cop has been tried and convicted. You burned down cities and committed violent acts for months for no good reason. You tore down and cancelled everything you don’t like. Stalin would be proud of you.

Many people die who didn’t deserve to. Like that little boy and girl killed by those BLM teens last year. Yet you never say anything about that. Communist *****

But they don’t get messiah-like statues and tributes and cities aren’t burned down over them.

What I’m saying is just because he did wrong does not mean that he deserves to be harassed or brutally murdered in a way that makes him suffer yes he was a bad guy and it’s debatable if he should have been executed in a way that does not give suffering but I don’t think chauvin was right either and I don’t think harassing is right

You don’t believe this at all. You’re just coming up with excuses to shut up people who disagree with you.

Not at all I agree that George was a bad guy but I don’t think anybody deserves harassment except for very terrible people on a world threatening status

George Floyd was a terrible person. He was a violent criminal who abandoned his children. He was scum.

Yeah, driving while intoxicated added to violently resisting arrest do not make a right.

But what's the basis for such an insightful observation?

I'd say, greater than 99% of the time - it has to do with the brain..... I'm not a medical professional, but it stands to reason.

Well given that was a sarcastic response to Lib_Terds_Suck and Poe's law clearly came into effect (given how you'd not picked up on it.) that's hardly a proper basis for your accusation.

So, let's start from the top. I think mocking George Floyd for going drug free by being dead is a rhetorical bridge too far. I'm not a dark humor guy, it's a public forum, and I'm making that position known. Rebutting the the substance of my claim wouldn't be hard since it's merely an opinion on an admittedly funny example of dark humor. Yet instead the two of you felt the need to devolve to personal attacks, which I thought was sewer in which we only let leftists reside.

Care to clarify your logic to me?

You're an easy target, and this is a meme site. If you think you can waltz around this place saying things like "makes me retarded" and expect that someone isn't going to use that against you - then I think you have a lot to learn about how humor works.

As far as mocking George Floyd, well, the guy didn't really give us much choice. Multiple felon, drug addict, passes a counterfeit bill, and resists arrest.....There is no part of that series of events that would indicate a happy ending is in the cards for George. Couple that with months of rioting, looting, burning buildings, and anti-police rhetoric coming from the left - and one struggles to find a glimmer of light at the end of a dark tunnel.

Sure, I can appreciate that everything isn't a joke - but at the same time, I contend that the most important things should be. Being able to find humor in everything gives me the ability to see everything objectively. That kind of thing gives me a multitude of advantages over the lesser creatures who wallow in the quagmire of consideration of others feelings. I'm way beyond caring how you feel about anything, because it gives me an advantage over you - a weapon to use against you. The things that cause you to crumble, strengthen my armor.

For starters, a personal attack on the internet was far from unexpected. I've been around the digital block more than once. Doesn't mean I won't be disappointed in those who stoop to that level anyhow.

I also don't have an issue with finding humor in sad or grim situations...in fact, just yesterday I threw down with some idiot here who said he hoped I died from COVID merely because I told him the fact it killed a close friend of mine doesn't stop me from laughing at COVID-related jokes.

Again, it's not that I can't take a hit below the rhetorical belt. It's that I consider such moves beneath the dignity of anyone interested in an actual discussion, even one of opinion. If you feel differently then that's not my problem, but don't expect to get a rise out of me. I'm interested only in civil dialogue and the occasional sarcastic wisecrack.

Well if I invented it then you weren't thinking it, which means you actually didn't pay attention to/recognize my ID, which I find unlikely.

I think you missed, again, what I'm trying to say; If I had a bias for conservatives, why would I straight up tell you that I feel they complain more about liberals using personal attacks than liberals do when conservatives launch those same attacks?

"Are you new to Imgflip?"

Asinine question and we both know it.

Of course now you're thinking, "IGK that was obviously a rhetorical devices used to call out your seemingly-blatant disregard for vitriol spewed by one side here."

Well, no, but I can see how you made that mistake.

Obviously both sides here throw acid at the other. Nothing new. But I for one see the right complain far more about the left doing that than vice-versa. My comment tapped into that sentiment to underscore my point, which is that lowering yourself to the level of your enemy makes you no better than him.

Again, I can see how you missed that. No harm, no foul though. 👍

...and then I explained to you that I was intentionally using tribalism as a rhetorical device so as to point out how hypocritical it was for [whomever I was talking to] to make such attacks while complaining when liberals also launch such attacks.

I'd bet money that I could go through their comment history and find at least one such butthurt comment when someone here insulted Trump or another figure they like.

So, again, instead of dwelling on how you interpreted my initial comment, let's stick to the present and what we know now that I've elucidated on its meaning twice.
