another thing about this stimulus bill is that it's aimed at helping small businesses, and republicans aimed to kill it anyway, despite calling for more small business aide.

Imagine this: There are many people out there that have been ruined by this pandemic. This stimulus package might be exactly what they need to start getting back on their feet. Do you want to deny them the opportunity to be able to live again? To put it in your language, these people can eventually get back on their feet and continue to contribute to American society.

Sorry, but not seeing U.S. citizens getting back on their feet by having to fund overseas abortion and bailing out private pensions as well as cities already in debt due to irresponsible financial management. And attempts to guilt taxpayers into meekly accepting this pork payout is just not going to fly.

If you are interested, you can download (as I have) full details at the Treasury Dept.'s website. You will find the framers used some veiled language regarding this certain aspect of the passed Bill, cushioning it in terms of global health and family planning initiatives. However, Planned Parenthood -which financially benefits the most from abortions- was giddy enough about it to release this public statement, "Passing the American Rescue Plan Act is an essential step forward for the country and our global partners."

"Electric vehicles can’t go as far as gas-powered ones. A green car will take you an average of 60–120 miles on a single charge, while a traditional car will take you about 300 miles on a single tank of gas. 2 You’ll also need to carefully plan for when you charge up your car."

Okay then, only 6 are higher than 300 which is what about oil cars can do
1 up, 3y
you're talking apples and oranges. The cost to charge any of these cars is WAY less than the cost to buy gas. Also- because a car/truck can go 300 miles on a "tank" of gas doesn't factor how much that tank costs to fill. A Ford F250 may go 400 miles on a tank but the tank is 34 gallons and costs $120 to fill. A Honda Accord may go 500 miles on it's tank and is 15 gallons and costs $45-50 to fill.

However Electric cars cost about $18 average to charge for 400 miles. WAY CHEAPER "per tank"

Regardless of how far they can go per charge, electric vehicles cost far less to "fill." Most people don't drive 200 miles a day. Gas or electric. The difference is no matter how much you drive you have to find a gas station to fill up and you can plug in your electric at home.

Obviously gas is still more available but charging stations are all over the place now and gaining traction. The reality is electric cars are probably the best most cost effective choice for many people and more so as they become more efficient and charging stations become more available making long distance drives easier to plan.

say you drive about 540 miles a month. For an EV, you will use 180 kWh in that time frame. Then, using the U.S. household average of 12 cents per kWh, that gets you to $21.60/month to charge an EV..... do you spend 21 bucks a month on gas for 540 miles?

Yep, the weapons went to Iran as deal after a Democrat President did nothing to free 52 American hostages held captive for 444 days.
Well, that's not entirely true.. Carter did manage to get 8 members of a SFOD-D team killed.

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/obama-iran-terrorism/

The Obama administration secretly arranged a plane delivery of $400 million in cash on the same day Iran released four American prisoners and formally implemented the nuclear deal, US officials confirmed Wednesday.

Now try to twist the facts to fit your lying narrative. The fact is Obama sent pallets of cash to Iran without the approval of the House or the Senate. You're a liar, Ionsite.
2 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Bush sent OUR money... Obama gave back theirs.

The $400 million was Iran’s to start with, placed into a US-based trust fund to support American military equipment purchases in the 1970s. When the Shah was ousted by a 1979 popular uprising that led to the creation of the Islamic Republic, the US froze the trust fund. Iran has been fighting for a return of the funds through international courts since 1981.

Show me proof of House and Senate approval to ship pallets of cash to Iran.

Post a link showing the vote count in the House and Senate approving Obama giving Iran $400 million. I'll wait while you crawl away like you always do.

So let me see if I have you're lying narrative right. An inept Democrat President in 1981 froze Iranian funds, and in 2016 another Inept Democrat President unfroze Iranian funds.

Now which lie are you pushing today, Obama unfroze Iranian funds because it was Iran's money? or the lie Democrats pushed that Obama gave Iran $400 million as part of a deal to free 4 hostages? Pick a lie and stick with it.

CIA-supplied contra planes and pilots carried cocaine from Central America to U.S. airports and military bases. In 1985, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent Celerino Castillo reported to his superiors that cocaine was being stored at the CIA’s contra-supply warehouse at Ilopango Air Force Base in El Salvador for shipment to the U.S. The DEA did nothing, and Castillo was gradually forced out of the agency.

When Danilo Blandón was finally arrested in 1986, he admitted to drug crimes that would have sent others away for life. The Justice Department, however, freed Blandón after only 28 months behind bars and then hired him as a full-time DEA informant, paying him more than $166,000. When Blandón testified in a 1996 trial against Ricky Ross, the Justice Department blocked any inquiry about Blandón’s connection to the CIA.
