I don’t but why simulate an attack on the uss Roosevelt? What purpose does it serve to let the Chinese mock attack one of our own ships?

Not sure if actual simulated attacks have taken place before (although I know china has simulated footage of an attack on a place that exists), but I do know China and Russia have done little things to f*ck with the American military for years, decades,(?) and we have "let" them do it..

And I am sure it was just as dumb then as it is now, not that I’m one to criticize but there has to be better ways of avoiding war than making the military look weak in a attack simulation imo.
