That doesn't seem to matter to the Democrats. They are absolutely obsessed. There is no rationale or reason to impeach him. I think they will be trying to impeach Trump for the next 500 years.

How is it that the Senate will remove Trump from office if he is no longer in office. Are the Dems admitting that Trump actually won the election? Because the Senate has no standing unless Trump is really the president.

1. The 2nd impeachment of trump was the most bipartisan presidential impeachment to date.

2. Not only can someone no longer in office be impeached, but it has already been done before.

Personally I think he should've been impeached for that phone call to Georgia asking em to "find" votes for him.... As in.. I need this many votes to win and that's how many I want you to "find". If Biden had made that phone call y'all would've sh*t bricks.

He didn't ask them to find votes. He told them how many fraudulent votes there were and said we only need to get this much to win.
Stop watching CNN and listen to the full call.

1. I would first have to start watching CNN in order to stop.

2. He actually did. I read the transcript. And I mean he's incoherent af but he told them multiple times... "find" votes.

"I don’t know, look, Brad. I got to get . . . I have to find 12,000 votes, and I have them times a lot. And therefore, I won the state...."

"So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break. You know, we have that in spades already.."

"No, we do have a way, but I don’t want to get into it. We found a way . . . excuse me, but we don’t need it because we’re only down 11,000 votes, so we don’t even need it. I personally think they’re corrupt as hell. But we don’t need that. All we have to do, Cleta, is find 11,000-plus votes.."

"So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state....."

What other president was impeached after they left office?

The fact that the 2nd impeachment was so bi-partisan just confirms my disgust with both the Republican and Democrat parties. The fact that they would hide the truth just so they can falsely accuse Trump of something he did not do is obscene.

The 1st impeachment was bad enough. Those weren't even crimes he was accused of. And in the end it was found out that the entire Russia collusion crap was a complete and total fabrication by Obama, Biden and Hillary. Both of his impeachments are based on lies.

Wasn't a president. Secretary of War William Belknap had resigned from office before they impeached him. He wasn't convicted anyway but ya.

The incident at the Capitol would not have happened without Trump going on and on about muh voter fraud. Giuliani is a clown and couldn't have done it by himself.

Impeachment is not a criminal proceeding so no. Eh... "Joking" or not... dude asked Russia to find Hillary's hacked emails on live TV and they did.. almost immediately. Imagine if Joe Biden had asked China for dirt on Trump during the debate and they had done so... Problem?

I looked up Belknap to see why. He was taking kickbacks, totaling $20,000, which back then was probably more like $200,000,000 today.

The difference Belknap actually committed a crime. He was facing impeachment but resigned first. Then they prosecuted him.

Trump hasn't done anything wrong. Just talking about voter fraud is not a criminal offense (although the way the left is carrying on about it, with their Nazi-like re-education camp stupidity, you would think it is a crime). The protestors were at the Capitol Bldg were protesting peacefully about the fraud. But then a small handful of idiots stormed the Capitol Bldg. My opinion is they were radical anarchists. Not far right anarchists but the Antifa kind of anarchist who wants to bring down the government and replace it with Communism.

But the way Congress is acting and how the hid the video of Trump calling for peace, I inclined to believe that those who rioted in the Capitol Bldg were paid by the Democrats. I can't prove that but I would not be surprised if it, by some small chance, ever came out.

Why do you and everyone else seem to think that no one would have ever considered voter fraud if Trump hadn't have said anything.

I knew that there was going to be massive voter fraud back in 2016 after seeing how absolute pissed off that Hillary wasn't appointed president. I have been telling Trump supporters that for the last 4 years. And lo and behold, it happened.

Voter fraud is just what Democrats do. They have been doing it for decades. That is why Obama made the deal to get Dominion voting machines in America. It was for the specific purpose of voter fraud. That is why in 2012, 2016 and 2020 I have heard several complaints that those machines where switching votes to the Democrat candidate. Before that it was busing illegal aliens around to polling places, Dems voting multiple times, Dems voting for dead people, family pets and cartoon characters. That has been going on for decades.

"The difference Belknap actually committed a crime. He was facing impeachment but resigned first. Then they prosecuted him."

Or in other words...... He was no longer in office. They impeached him. The senate acquitted him. And you seem to have found him guilty. Interesting.

Also you seem stuck on it not being a "criminal offence"... Impeachment isn't a criminal proceeding. I know Giuliani ranting about " 'collusion' is not a crime" would make it seem otherwise, but that is not the case.

Belknap was taking kickbacks. Trump did nothing. Those are the facts. The Democrats are obsessed with Trump. They want to stop him from ever running for office again.

They are trying to say he lead an insurrection. He had absolutely NOTHING to do with those idiots who stormed the Capitol building. And the more I am think about the more I am believing that those idiots were paid by the Democrats so that they can try to piece together an insurrection charge.

It is as false as the entire Russia collusion nonsense. What it comes down to is that the Democrats cannot find anything to impeach Trump over so they fabricate a crime (or whatever you want to call it) and then the fabricate charges. If there was something written into the Constitution that allowed We The People to prosecute congressmen for false and unethical behavior I would lead the charge to through every Democrat out of Congress right now. They are all rotten to the core. They are worthless pieces of pig feces.

He was impeached while in office by the house. The Senates constitutional qduty is to try the impeached person, if they are still in office or not.
Don’t worry, he won’t be found guilty. He may run again. The GOP better prepare for a rough 8 years + ahead with democrats winning EVERYTHING.

True, can't argue your statement. Only add the methods by which democrats are going to be winning will be by "fortified" means, but outside of that your statement is 100% correct.

Right. Democrat. Republican. And Trump party. Guess who is gonna win EVERY DAMN ELECTION.

There's no splintering. The GOP in charge just don't represent conservatives. Once they are replaced GOP will win all fair elections.

Well then I’d tell you you’re wrong.

Under the Constitution, the House has the sole power of impeachment, full stop. And the Senate must try the case. There is precedent for impeaching former officials, but in this case, the impeachment was initiated while Trump was still President. McConnell had time to hold a trial prior to Jan. 20 but chose not to.

There’s no statute of limitations re: impeachment in the Constitution. And as a matter of logic and justice, you can’t run out the clock on treason. Certainly not in less than a month.

Dozens of Constitutional Law experts have dismissed your argument as BS.

The trial will go forward, the evidence will be aired, and y’all will get to decide once again that evidence be damned, y’all just love this sorry excuse for a President that cost Republicans control of the Presidency, the House, and the Senate in a mere 4 years.
