They don't use masks to stop viruses. They use them so they don't spit, cough, or sneeze on someones body.

Corona Virus present in a host - bonds to the spit and mucus molecules in our breath - spit and mucus. When we sneeze, or cough. The Corona Virus sticks itself right to it. When that hits the inside of the mask instead of someone's shoulder or face or hands or children... It STOPS the covid from spraying all over those recipients.
