It's hilarious when literally everyone from the state government to the president are black and/or liberal, yet their citizens are saying there's a racist system oppressing them.
Do you think protesting and tearing down statues will?

Not if they don't try. It's not primari a federal problem anyway. The system that keeps people down is often local government plans combined with a socioeconomic trend that punishes those that try to get out of poverty.
I don't care what party somebody is politically affiliated with. If they are a racist then they are a racist. Pointing fingers is not going to get rid of racism. Individual action will though. :)
If it can't be fixed overnight, then I don't understand the protests and statue bashing. I think it will take along time, probably generations.
Love the "tea time" line. That's hilarious!

I don’t really care for the senseless destruction either, but the amount of time there’s been inaction is beyond unacceptable. Not really a good justification I agree.
BARACK OBAMA & JOE BIDEN WERE PRESIDENT/VICE PRESIDENT FROM
JANUARY 20, 2009 THROUGH JANUARY 20, 2017; IF RACISM IN AMERICA IS TRULY “SYSTEMIC”, THEN WHY DIDN’T THEY SPEND THEIR EIGHT YEARS IN POWER FIXING IT?
