Don't believe that anything should be looted or burned. It just causes more problems than solves. Besides, other parties can get hurt, both financially, emotionally, or physically, through said looting or burning.

The protesters may not be doing the looting and violence but they are enabling it by occupying law enforcement resources.

All it take is one dumbass gestapo cop to ruin an entire system it seems. Police is a money making enterprise? On the contrary, they are a very expensive service that, along with fire departments, consume the majority of city budgets.

You seem to think cops get paid by the call or something like that. They get paid the same weather they sit at a school crossing or chase a violent criminal.

They are just exercising their First Amendment right of the Constitution of Freedom of Assembly and Petition. And we agree that it is truly their right, just as much as the 2nd amendment gives we the people the right to bear arms, correct? It's not their fault that others have hijacked their cause to do bad things.

It may not be their fault but it’s still irresponsible. Once they see that their protest is being used as cover for people standing behind them throwing objects at the police, they need to break it up and so the police can go after the thugs without having to climb through a mass of protesters.
