No, I think most of the larger corporations who can weather this will come out better than the smaller businesses. Those are the ones I'm most concerned about. Especially those owned by black business owners who not only will suffer financial loss but alienated by people who claim to be supporting people like them. To fix this, perhaps BLM can raise money for those businesses effected by the crisis. I wonder if they will.
Some of those social policies have been useful in reforming members of society, like George Floyd, who seemed to have been turning his life around prior to his murder. I think undoing all social programs would be just as extreme as defunding or dismantling these police departments.
