It is bad that people blindly trust the government.

no point in getting involved with him - a paid shill.

I wouldn't believe Kylie is paid by anyone. They pay for the meme not pedantic twisted arguments with other site users. The bigger reason to choose whether to interact or not is for the fact of Him/Her being a liar that you should consider your interaction.

Every time you come back to argue with KylieFan_89 the meme gets another "hit".

That post, which he also submitted as a meme afterwards, was bs, a sarcastic swipe at accusers.

Nevertheless, it is odd how Kyle toes the party line a little too well and narrowly.
His stance on Climate Change, for example. Despite constantly harping on it, his sole call for action in response is a carbon tax, and nothing else. Supposedly the burden of this tax will then give people cause to take actual action. Utter nonsense, and a bit suspect.

Only a left-wing extremist would call a carbon tax 'centrist'.

Lol. What’s your centrist solution to climate change?

Not wasting taxpayer money on trying to change the temperature.

Alright

But your kids and their kids and their kids and so forth will remember your choice.

Favored by who wha?

It's a sin tax which does nothing.
No one unplugs when their utility bills go up, and usage is the same as they go down.

It's an excuse for inaction.

Admittedly, I have yet to craft the perfect-length Goldilocks liberal argument that will magically cause all conservatives to solemnly nod their heads in agreement

Try some facts or truth. Works wonders.

Lol. We know you know by now that there is no such thing as alternative facts, only facts. This has been pointed out a hundred times. It's like discussing things with an amnesiac.
1 up, 5y
Oh you wanted real facts. I’ve got those for days

Fact: The world is warming.

Except for that one ice sheet in Antarctica that conservatives love to talk about. This chart even shows that!

Fair & balanced

Keep dreaming KF. What you're trying to convince people of is the issue. If you had better material to work with, you would find greater success.

In this case, size does NOT matter!

want some more "sarcastic posts"?

$30,000 a month for making memes - not so bad for a start, eh?

Yeah, was wondering about you the other week, checked and saw you had been MIA a bit but then just returned.
I've been a bit slack lately myself, distracted elsewhere.
Hope all is well.

Thing with that is what you told him about keeping it undisclosed... He wouldn't be announcing it.

He can also get his ass in trouble with the DNC for claiming to work on their behalf, representing them, their positions, and smearing for them. Perhaps reporting him would be the way to go.

Be it breach of discretion towards his DNC employer or a false DNC employment claim - his ass is in trouble either way.
Re slander&defamation: the Trump lawyers would be eating that shyster for breakfast.

ahahaha, NOW it's freedom of speech, falsely claiming to be a paid representative disseminating propaganda on behalf of the DNC.
But meme Kylie's image, that's slander.

and yes- I hade a break, but the corona situation brought me back to memeing.
Just checked your profile page - looks like another KylieFan emerged ROFL.

Why take a break, unless this place begins to bore?
I reckon social media is inudated lately.

My fave - for lack of a better word - is the vomit inducing Kylie screen/Miley twerk one. No caption, because there are no words, none.

LOL. You didn't like that one, huh. I appreciate that you're one of the few who answers my calls for citations. Our debates get farther than most.

I do read your sources, but I guess you just don't like what I have to say about them.

Google has made reliable information easier to find than ever before. Obvious point: It didn't exist in colonial times. Covid-19 and pretty much everything else we talk about on a daily basis are not "The Brits Are Coming" situations.

If your definition of a debate is just whining at each other and competing to see who can deliver the sickest burns, alright.

But a mature definition of debate is a mutual exchange of information in search of the truth without emotional investment in the outcome.

Hope this helps.

If you say you read them, then okay. It just seems like you don't. But I will take you at your word on it.

Meh, there is constant use of whataboutism.

You say you are pointing out hypocrisy, but most of the time you are not.

For the benefit of everyone here, let's just drop it. It's not necessary. I will point it out on the next instance and you can have your chance to explain then.
0 ups, 5y
I know you said "drop it," but for the benefit of everyone here:

I often bring up occasions where the President himself has done similar or worse conduct than whatever Democrats are being accused of in the current meme. That's not whataboutism, that's pointing out hypocrisy.

Example: I'm happy to acknowledge that Biden could be guilty of harassing Tara Reade. But it is folly to allow that sort of discussion to take place outside the context that Trump himself has been accused 20+ times, including of minor rape. We've been served a shit sandwich. But these are our two choices in November, and in the coming months we have to decide who would make the better President.

It's safe to say that any Trump-critical information will never reach the top page of "politics" as a standalone meme, so meme comments is an appropriate place to discuss it.

I know you'd like to close your eyes to it, but that just ain't gonna happen, chief.

It usually is fake, which is why they should know by now that they need to cite the source.

At some point you have to trust valid sources. You just have to know what sources are valid. And that's where personal opinion holds us back. We are living in "1984"
