I like getting to know people, Bobby. It's always educational.
You called me a liar and, well, that's ok. 'Sticks and stones', like they say. But now I gots to embarrass you in front of yer pals to defend my honor. That's a shame 'cause I don't like to.
You said: "Easy to prove you wrong. My god, this is easy.
https://www.healio.com/rheumatology/lupus/news/online/%7Ba34fd607-0241-49d2-b57f-885d79ab94ca%7D/fda-approves-hydroxychloroquine-new-drug-application-to-address-covid-19-related-shortage".
So I read that article and found that it disagrees with you: "The FDA has approved an abbreviated new drug application for hydroxychloroquine sulfate tablets to address ongoing shortages of the drug sparked by its still unproven potential as a COVID-19 treatment.
The application, submitted by Accord Healthcare, was approved on April 7. The approved indications are uncomplicated malaria due to Plasmodium falciparum, P. malariae, P. ovale, and P. vivax; chronic discoid lupus erythematosus and systemic lupus erythematosus in adults; and acute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis in adults."
Now I don't know if you're a reader or not, but them sentences there say that's it's approved to treat malaria, not covid-19. It also says the shortages of the drug are due to its use against covid-19, but it don't say that it's approved for that use.
Then you said: "Hydroxychloroquine has to date 60 approved studies by the CDC for efficacy of treatment of COVID-19."
It's another readin' thing, I guess. But there's a big difference between a STUDY of a drug being approved and the DRUG ITSELF being approved. See? They're really different.
Then you went on to say "Trump could cure cancer, it would make no difference." I see people on here sayin' that a lot, and I always think Trump couldn't cure a ham, let alone cancer. Can you all really not tell how dumb he is?
Well maybe you can't, I guess. Listen, I gotta go. I don't need a apology for the 'liar' comment. You just doin' whatcha can with what God gave ya.
